Hotels near Funicolare Monte San Salvatore, Paradiso

During our one-night stay at Hotel Admiral in Lugano, Switzerland, we encountered a very pleasant and accommodating staff. However, we found the rooms to be rather peculiar. It seemed evident that some bathroom modifications were attempted, but unfortunately, they appeared unfinished. The shower, for instance, seemed to have been relocated without appropriate adjustments to the rest of the bathroom. While the rooms were clean, they emanated a slightly shabby and aged atmosphere, as can be seen in the provided pictures. On the positive side, the hotel's location was quite convenient, situated approximately 15 to 20 minutes away from the city center by foot. All things considered, I would rate our experience a 6 out of 10. Although the staff was commendable, the overall offering didn't quite match the price we paid.

The hotel is well located for easy access to Lugano and the lakeside. The rooms were clean, reception had been smartened up since our last visit but the big plus is the excellent breakfast - plentiful supplies with a wide choice. All the staff we encountered were helpful. The only downside was that there didn’t appear to be a three person room which, since we stayed three nights would have been a big help.

The hotel is very good. The room is quite large, suitable for family travel, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad. The hotel's swimming pool is quite suitable for children. The lake at the entrance of the hotel is beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk. The only downside is that it is far from the famous attractions in Switzerland, and Grindwa and Interlaken are still much more beautiful.

Disadvantages: Hotel facilities are old, rooms are very small, air conditioning is still bad! Hygienic did not look clean. After going out at 11 o'clock in the evening, I locked the door at the hotel door. I waited for more than 10 minutes by the doorbell. No one came! [Suitenhotel Paco Paradiso] (Lugano Station) The hotel is not at Lugano train station, closer to the next stop Paradiso. Out of the train station, you need to push the luggage to go uphill, walk 15-20min, very tiring. The hotel is built on the hillside and on the mountain, so Lobby is on the 2nd floor. And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The room area is not limited to the 24 square meters marked on the website. It is so big... Once the bedroom is in another room, the living room will be very spacious. The large writing desk is convenient for me to open the computer to process the mail. In the living room, two pull-down children's beds are hidden, which is suitable for a family of four. Slippers, shampoo and hair care kits, hotel amenities. The automatic flushing smart cover is installed in the toilet bowl. Compared to the balcony room upstairs, the room with its own garden terrace feels more like a house, lake view, and unobstructed view. Gym, sauna, bar, nightlife, choice. The first 2 items are free. When checking out, in addition to the room fee paid by the ctrip guarantee to the store, an additional tax is required: City tax: 8.8 CHF Tourist tax: 3.4 CHF Inform the front desk, you can call the taxi (Taxi) to the train station at any time. We thought we would send it to the nearest Paradiso train station. No, the driver sent us directly to the more Lugano station, 20min, and went downhill. This hotel (197 CHF/night, excluding breakfast) is more suitable for leisure vacations. Sign up at the hotel front desk for activities: mountain climbing, culture and art. When you leave, go to Foxtown and sweep the goods.

On our way to the Swiss Alps, we stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy Lugano. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good, and the location was slightly out of town center (which was good) and the dock for ferry service was right down the street. The best was their concierge, Barbara - who got us free passes on local buses, and discounts on other attractions. She gave us great advise of lesser known things to do - and how to get around. All in all, a wonderful stay!

The apartment is on the 5th floor of an apartment building. Kitchen is equipped with everything (microwave, coffee maker, washing machine, etc.). 2 bedrooms each with a double bed. A parking space is available. The contact with the administration was unco

I have just spent few days over Easter in Bugatt hotel with my family. We loved everything from a very friendly service, beautiful, big and bright room, stunning surroundings to the restaurant experience. It’s a modern, yet with a homely vibe, tranquil place. Just around the corner from a buzz of Lugano, but in a peaceful and glorious location with spectacular views over the lake and the mountains. Restaurant serves great quality local food. Breakfast is absolutely perfect with freshly baked bread and many homemade specialities. My absolute favorite in Ticino.

The Hotel is situated in the middle of Paradiso Park, south of Logano, with a splendid view of the town and Lake Lugano. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and lighting management system, etc. The restaurants consist of a brasserie and a Michelin-level restaurant, which are handled by a service-minded and professional staff. The reception works fine and handles all our requests for boat trips, hiking, trains, and use of electric cars (Smart)/bikes that are a part of the hotel amenities without a separate charge. There is a big garage for cars beneath the hotel, which came in very handy upon our arrival from southern Frace as northern Italy suffered its worst hailstorm in centuries. We were very happy about the spa section, which we used several times.
