The reason for giving a five-star rating is that it is impossible to give a six-star rating.
In all aspects, especially the service, it is impeccable and even exceeds expectations. The best stay experience in several years.
We arrived in Paris in the early morning and put our luggage in the hotel early in the morning. Not only was the service warm, but they also took the initiative to provide us with coffee and bread! When we were walking around Paris during the day, the hotel butler also consulted us and booked a show in the evening. When we checked in in the afternoon, we were given a free room upgrade. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared a check-in greeting card and snacks. The breakfast was also perfect!
The service was very warm and considerate. The location was perfect. The hygiene was excellent. (The mattress had seven layers of bunks)
It can be felt that all the staff in the entire hotel are serving with their heart, not just working.
I booked a hotel in Paris due to a change in my schedule. The location is really good. There are many brand silk stores on Saint-Germain Avenue. Le Bon Marche and Samaritaine are within walking distance.
The hotel offers free drinks at night, which is also a good point.
A few points about the hotel itself are worth complaining about
1: Because we booked it temporarily, we only had the basic room type, which was really small. The bathroom did not match the picture and looked old overall.
2: The room had a very obvious smell of repainting.
3: The door closing sound in the corridor was very obvious, and the wifi was not stable
Located in the bustling business district of Saint Germain de Pepe, it is a small and medium-sized listed 4 star traditional hotel. Easy to go shopping, walk the Louvre, Otseia, Orange Garden, the Palais des Palais des Palais de la Palais, Luxembourg, Notre Dame (renovated), Saint Chapel, Paris ancient prison, Shakespeare bookstore, etc., within 20 minutes. The hotel room is more spacious, the layout has a bit of French classical taste, the service is good, the two uncles at the front desk are very kind and humorous, but the room furniture is old, the hygiene is general, the bath needs to stand in the bathtub and no shower curtain, although dry and wet separation, but the bathroom is closed and small. There are many restaurants around, and the LV store opposite the downstairs is the famous Huashen Cafe. There is a large department store food supermarket on the right side of the right intersection of the hotel. There are everything, but there are no Chinese restaurants within two kilometers. There are only two Japanese meals and two Japanese ramen restaurants, which is slightly inconvenient. In addition, the hotel entrance is the taxi stand-by point, give the travel added convenience.
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to LEBONMARCHE, only 5 minutes walking distance, there are many brand shops around, you can go downstairs. The hotel room is a bit small, but for the price of this location in Paris, it is already a very cost-effective choice. The subway downstairs will be noisy. Those who mind the noise should pay attention to it. Generally speaking, it is more suitable.
Very conveniently located in the Saint Germain area and within less than a 5 mins’ walk from the metro. Room size was larger than usual by Parisian hotel standards. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They even provided umbrellas when it rained.
The hotel is extremely SMALL. Lobby is SMALL. We waited for quite awhile to get check-in. Service was SLOW.
The only thing we like, is the room we got.
Clean, consist of bathrobe and room slipper.
Price NOT worth it.
*** TAKE NOTE ***
We booked this hotel because of the SPA reviews, it may looks beautiful in photo. Water seems dirty, it gave me itch after. Pls look clear at the 2nd photo I posted, there was a camera! How is this acceptable? Your clients are naked and you’re viewing from your lobby desk.
Shortly after we got up, we went to the lobby and asked, why is there a CCTV in the spa? He replied “for safety reason”.
I understand that but come on, at least a heads up to clients!
Definitely NOT coming back again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris.
First, the location. I can walk to the major landmarks like River Seine, Louvre, 'Dorsay museum, Notre Dame, etc. It is located close to St Germaine, so there are many charming streets to roam about and many options for food and supplies. I feel safe wandering around on my own as a solo female traveller.
Second, the place is tastefully decorated. I like my room which has windows that overlook the streets as well as the decor. The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices. The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright.
Third, the staff. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me. I would like to commend her for her great personality and attitude, but I missed getting her name. The other staff I met are equally friendly and nice (two young ladies, one named Li/Yang; and another gentleman). Even if they don't know something, they will look up the information for me. They will also provide me with recommendations. I also must compliment the driver who picked me up from the airport and drove me to the airport (hotel transfers). He is very polite and considerate and he makes me feel at ease when i was travelling in his car. Even the gentleman who helped me with my luggage wore a big smile on his face. Thank you to everyone I've met during my stay and which made my experience a pleasant one.
I learned only on my last day that they have another sister hotel a few steps away. One of the staff recognized me and invited me to take a look inside. Again, the place is tastefully done. If I have a chance to be back in Paris, I will check out both Artus Hotel as well as this hotel. I would also like to take this opportunity to make a request to the guests who are going to stay in the hotel - let's make an effort to treat the room as if it is our own. That way, the hotel will stay in a good condition for a longer time and future guests will get to enjoy the stay as much as I did. Thank you :)
It’s a nice hotel centrally located. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The shower is hot, and the bed is comfy…the pillows are a little to soft for my liking, but that’s a personal thing.
Overall nice hotel, a little dated, but location is great.

Excellent
赵赵The most satisfying hotel on a trip to Paris, the service was excellent. The hotel is perfectly located with lots of interesting shops, restaurants and bars around, and a five minute walk from the subway station. The hotel itself is small and beautiful, with exquisite details.
庄庄The location of the hotel is very good, the travel is very convenient, you can go to many places within walking distance, of course not a big attraction, it is some very chic place. The service of the hotel is also very good, very warm, very fond of the staff of the bar, will give you a lot of advice. The only fly in the ointment is that bathing is a disaster!
Sshawn0725In addition to the smaller room, the overall price is high: walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc., the front desk and staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room is clean and heated
AAnonymous UserEspecially like it! ! Just near the church, you can hear a few bells in the evening. The room has a large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the curtains are opened the next morning. The sun is so beautiful. The sister at the front desk is very nice! Breakfast is very good, you can watch the beautiful garden and enjoy breakfast. Like the decoration style. The location is also very good. I will stay next time.
YYUCENNo air conditioning, friends, no ventilation. Can't live in summer The service is okay, and there is no special place. The front desk was aggressive and asked if I had any keys. I didn’t explain that I had to deposit the keys to them before going out -_-|| The room is old and small, and the sanitary napkins are not good. I didn't dare to wash my hair for two days.
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite ordinary, but its location and price are good value for money. You can reach Flore and Deux Magots Cafe right outside. You can choose to have coffee or breakfast in these two famous cafes. It is 200 meters away from the subway station, which is very convenient for travel and shopping.
