Hotels in La Villette, Paris

Breakfast and budget are OK , but the facilities need renovation. In the room for two we had only one chair (?). Тhe other guest must either stand or be able to use the bed.. We demanded that they add another one, but that didn't happen. They also didn't change the bed linen for several days, even though it was stained. They just turned it over? Apparently there is a problem with the staff.

I stayed here for about a week because I had business nearby and wanted a hotel with a kitchen. I took a taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the hotel upon arrival. On my departure day, I checked out, left my luggage for some sightseeing, and then returned to take the taxi that I had arranged during check-out to the airport. In every interaction, the staff was incredibly kind and made my stay very comfortable and stress-free. While it's a bit far from central Paris, the metro station is right in front of the hotel, and there are restaurants, bakeries, and a Monoprix nearby, which is super convenient. The photo shows the view from my room window. I edited out some luggage in front of the bed in the room photos, but I hope they're still helpful!

Wonderful hotel, very clean, very welcoming, situated near the La Villette recreational complex. The room was cosy, perfect balance in terms of not too cold with colours nor not too dark. The Queen sized bed was magnificent but the pillows weren't of my standard, as I found no support in that, but of course, crucially, pillow comfort is subjective to the user. The room was spacious with plenty of natural lighting as well as enough artificial lighting too. There is a desk area and some convenient wall storages, as well as an inbuilt wardrobe for further additional storage. The TV had French channels mostly and understandably, but this being The Garden Inn, the TV is setup to cast your apps from your phone to watch on the TV, but note, this is only an Android feature. All in all, a relaxing and joyous place to stay. The area is nice and quiet and away from the street noise. However, the fellow guests on the same floor had no decency to respect other guests, as they kept closing their doors heavy handedly and making noise whilst walking along the corridor. But putting that aside, the hotel quality and services is what you'd expect to find from the Garden Inn.

I stayed here for 4 nights and was assigned to an upper bunk bed. On the second night, after two guests checked out, I noticed there were available lower beds and asked the staff if I could move. Initially, I was told to come back the next morning to arrange the change. However, when I returned, another staff member told me that I could not move because the hostel was fully booked. This was confusing, as there was clearly at least one lower bed available. What made the experience disappointing is that the lower bed remained empty for the rest of my stay, yet my request was still not accommodated. The communication between staff was inconsistent, and the handling of the situation felt unprofessional. Overall, while the stay itself was acceptable, this experience reflected a lack of flexibility and coordination in customer service.

I am traveling to Paris for the second year. Overall, it’s a good hotel with reasonable prices, but the room and bathroom are very small. The breakfast is not very diverse, so this year we booked without breakfast.
