This hotel is very unique and well kept. Each room is themed and well kept. They over a continental breakfast from 6-9. They have a library bar that serves dinner as well. Mackenzie works at the front desk and is super helpful. Ask her for the tour of the basement which is in its original al condition. A must see!! We dined at Stillwater restaurant located very close to the hotel and the food was great - be sure to have the bruschetta!! We stayed in the Leonard Cohen room on the second floor it has a record player with records. Because the hotel is older the walls are thin but other then that this little hotel is a must see !!

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I had forgotten my shaving cream and I was able to get some at the front desk. The room was clean and it was nice and quiet. An enjoyable stay.

Good basic accommodation with friendly service and reasonable price. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with towels, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and more drawer and cupboards space than you often get in much more expensive places. Convenient for lots of nearby fast food places and the Symposium Café on site (see separate review). Highly recommended.

We hard a large group and this was the perfect hotel. Room are well appointed with Kitchen items (dishwasher with a pod, dish soap, containers, pots, pans, strainer, cutting board etc. Bathrooms have pumps for S&C, hand soap, cream and body wash. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great lots to choose from (Eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, bananas, apples, cereal, oatmeal... you will find something you like. They even have a great little store. I've never seen a hotel have so much selection like this. Was perfect when you we were running late for a game and you need Gatorade and some snacks. Pool was clean and nice, would like a hot tub but that's just me being picky. Even with a packed hotel.. it didn't feel like it. I've stayed at over 5 hotels in this area and hands down this is the best. It has everything and more. Paying a small bit extra was so very worth it.

I am surprised by the decent reviews this hotel gets. I have stayed at many Four Points hotels before and they are usually a very lovely stay. This hotel has been the worst stay I’ve had in a long time. I did not make use of the facilities, such as the pool, but shuttle was not available, neither was the continental breakfast. Immediately upon checking in and getting to my room, I went straight back down to the front desk to ask for disinfecting wipes for common surfaces in my room. The doors, particularly the bathroom door, was visibly dirty, the bathroom surfaces (if they had been wiped) looked like they were wiped with a dirty cloth. The walls had not been wiped down and had questionable dirty spots on them, as well as hair. There was hair in my shower. The switch for the light beside my bed hadn’t been wiped and the lights themselves were visible dusty. Cupboards were dirty. USB charging port did not work and the fridge did not keep my bottle of water cold. If it wasn’t 1am I would have asked for a different room. Front reception staff did not offer to remedy the situation and were very mildly apologetic. During Covid times, if they are clearly not wiping visibly dirty high touch surfaces, what other protocols are they not following? This was my first trip home in two years and it was for a family emergency. I had high expectations for safety standards. At check out early the next morning; after not being able to get a complimentary breakfast, as per my booking, I voiced how disappointed I was with the cleanliness of my room, and staff told me that since I had booked through a third party they could not offer a price adjustment but if I wanted to order a breakfast from their restaurant there was 10 minutes left to do so.. after I had checked out and was about to be picked up. Based on the cleanliness of my room, I would not be interested in ordering anything from their restaurant. Disappointing stay/service. I would not recommend this hotel unless you don’t care and just need a bed to sleep in.

We recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Brantford for five days during a recent visit to the Ontario area. The hotel is a new-ish complex off the highways with convenient access and a fast food complex (Tims, Wendys, KFC, Taco Bell, Indian) within walking distance. The design of the property is to incorporate a few more kitchen-style amenities into a larger room ideal for longer stays (think basement suite but in a hotel). The hotel has a pool with excellent access times (no hot tub), and it also has a fitness center accessible 24/7 along with several meeting rooms for events. Front desk staff (all of them) during check in, extending stay and overall assistance were great. For some reason, one of our key cards deactivated a few times over the course of our stay, which was quickly resolved in both cases. The room was spacious and equipped with a medium sized fridge, freezer, microwave, dishes and cutlery for use. You are able to rent for free a hot plate and cookware if needed (we did not opt to). The furnishings were very nice and modern, the accommodations were clean (sheets, etc.) overall. The only minor faults I noticed were utensils not completely clean - some had water stains and slight residue from prior use. We were very comfortable nevertheless and the blinds were great at keeping the sunlight out. Breakfast was a good offering, however I do have a bit of an issue that it was offered as a “hot breakfast”, The general norm I've come to understand is that a hot breakfast will include hot proteins like eggs, bacon… the only things that were hot were the oatmeal, DIY waffles, toast and breakfast sandwiches after heating them up in the microwave. They also did not rotate or offer variety over the course of the stay (five nights) which became a bit tiresome. Moreover, you have to be on time for breakfast, as they will pull the curtains on you (quite literally) at 9:30. A suggestion to elevate this to a stellar offering would be to consider incorporating a few hot trays (eggs, bacon, sausage) and rotate them with the breakfast sandwiches. Also, some folks felt rushed to grab items at 9:30, so perhaps an extension to 10am may be helpful for late risers. Can't give half circles - a one night stay would've been a 5, but it trended down a bit given the longer stay. Overall, despite the downfalls (which were minor in the grand scheme of things), provided you mix up your breakfast and eat out every now and then for longer stays, the Home2 Suites Brantford is a very good showing indicative of its current rating on TripAdvisor. The value is really good for what you receive, that is if you are willing to be a further distance away from the GTA and Niagara Falls area. Friends feel very good, the price is relatively high.

This hotel checks all the boxes for me. It’s clean, relatively up-to-date, and the staff are polite and professional. The restaurant here is worth exploring too. I stayed here for three days and slept like a rock! Very quiet rooms, which is nice for a change! Thanks to the staff for taking care of me!
