We went for a early spring snowmobile trip. Cabin was great, staff attended to our every need and area is beautiful. The trip from Salt Lake City Airport to the lodge is scenic and beautiful. From Evanston, WY, it is a straight shot to on 150 to the Lodge.

This was or 3rd trip to the cabins and renting sleds. The staff is always great and Bruce is a great GM of the property. The Machines are always new for that season , well maintained and we rented six this time all ran great. The whole group had a blast and we covered around 140 miles in two days. They have everything you need right there for snow gear. The cabins have always been clean and they have everything you need to cook stocked in the kitchen. Beds are comfy and plenty of bedding for all. " Only upgrades they need to do some of the cabins the couches are dated" Make sure you ask at reservation time what the security deposit will be as they put a charge hold on your card for all the machines you rent. If you check in by 4pm and pay $25.00 per sled you get them that day for night riding and if you want them for one more night at the end of your trip it is just $25.00 more per machine that way you can ride past 4pm on your last day. We will be back in 2025!

Cool place. The cabins were excellent. The snow bikes we rented were very good. They need heated grips though. We were the during the time that the restaurant was closed but Evanston WY is an easy 30-minute drive. The riding area is huge and we made first tracks almost everywhere we went. The owner was very responsive and accommodating as were the staff. One note to future stays is you have to pay for the gas you use in the rentals. I've rent many times all over the country and never paid for the gas I used. And it is expensive, just know the price of the rental does not include this. Otherwise, this is a great place to visit and I hope I am able to come back again.

Simple said this was the best trip I have ever been on, and I have been a lot of places. Rodger and his staff were wonderful and supremely focused on the customer experience. We had a group of 34 and all of us left as friends of the Bear River Lodge staff. The accommodations, snow machine equipment, food, everything was perfect. There is not one view that is not a postcard, and once you hit the trails there is something for everyone. If you are planning a vacation, group outing or business trip and you don't go here you have made the mistake of your life. Bear River Lodge is now in my regular annual stops for business and family get aways. Great Job guys, we had a Blast!!!

Everything was perfect! The views from our porch! Grandsons loved the fishing pond! They even turned on the fireplace for us in July because it got super cold with a storm and we are seniors. All the staff were great! Beds were comfy too!

We booked three nights at the Bear River Lodge without any real idea what we were in for. The drive there was scenic and beautiful. The cabins on the outside were beautiful. The only reason I didn't give the place a higher general rating is that my wife was disappointed that our single bedroom suite was the lower level of a large cabin and the bedroom didn't have a proper window (it was a basement-type window). This was not mentioned clearly enough on the web site, which is a pity. Other than that the suite was lovely. The bedroom was HUGE with a HUGE log bed. The sitting room was HUGE with very comfortable couches and a large TV with all the channels you can dream of. The kitchen was fully equipped and useful. All in all, Bear River was a great hub for sightseeing the beautiful surrounding area. We'll most probably be back!!

We rented snowmobiles. There's a lot to like and in some ways this was close to being a good experience, but ultimately there were enough things that were funky -- are we allowed to use the restrooms or not? -- and confusing -- are the conditions "great" or will we be stopping every 5 minutes for the machines to cool down -- and unexpected -- like a $1,500 quote over the phone that was actually closer to $2,000 with a $5,000 security deposit in reality. I recommend the experience, but I recommend finding a company that's figured out how to make it a great experience.

Awesome weekend with family in the mountains in a huge cabin! Many places to ride ATVs and hike, then back to the cabin to sit in the hot tub. Cabins are clean and comfortable with tons of room. Fantastic!!

Our group of 7 did the all inclusive snowmobiling package. None of us had ever snowmobiled but they customized an experience just for us. This was one of the most memoriable trips and everything was top notch. The cabin was beautiful and spacious, we had booked the 5 bedroom but they upgraded us to the 7 bedroom. The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking. Meals were included in our package and we had a home cooked breakfast spread and amazing dinners everyday and a variety of chips, lunch meats and snacks to pack and take out during the day on our snowmobling adventures. They offered pick up and drop off at the SLC airport for a reasonable fee, and provided all the gear needed to ride the machines in our package. Our guides, Roger & Mic were the best. They took us places we would have never seen on our own. They took us on a heated Cam-Am ride of the area and brought out the snow bikes and let us try those out as well. The entire staff was so friendly and we consider them all friends now. Highly recommend!!!
