I don't know how they react when you wear a bath suit as guest. There is no alcohol, clearly. But they don't even produce glasses so you can take another drink outside on the street. There is no tanning cleaner that you could have taken.

So, here I was in the Town Hotel and found out later how lucky I had been, it was clean, with all amenities, shower, TV etc. The bosses name is Liong, a Malay/Chinese. He befriended me and took me to various temples, Chinese and Hindu, some out of the way, caves. He also introduced me to some of his relatives and we talked about the old days of the emergency. His father in law was about the same age as me (I was a soldier in Malaysia, during the emergency). He made my trip for me. through memories and hearing about the other side of a nasty secret war. I saw examples that Liong is friendly to most people, his wife has the flower shop downstairs. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I will be back next year..
