The hotel has just been newly renovated , it looks very fresh and spotless. The staff in the hotel are amazing-all very helpful and welcoming. The food is good and the dining areas are beautiful. I know some have been upset by the glass cubicles in room but really didn’t find them an issue. The pools are lovely and always able to get a lounger. The resort itself is very nice with local beaches and shops. Also fantastic bus service to Palma. I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel. Also entertainment is very good.

We have just arrived and we're in a 'deluxe' double room and I can honestly say it's absolutely awful. They have decided to do minimalist to the extreme, its like staying in a cheap Travelodge. There is no bathroom. The toilet and shower are in glass cubicles in the room. As a woman of a certain age I need, and indeed expect to be able to have privacy for £1400! You can see and hear everything when someone is in the loo. There is no storage, nowhere to put your personal items away, no shelf in the shower to put your toiletries. Its disgusting. I would never recommend this hotel

We have just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. I have to agree with most of recent comments on Trip Advisor. We arrived very late and the staff had left a meal in the dining room which was much appreciated. Our standard room was newly refurbished and modern with the shower and toilet cubicles within the bedroom area. That was fine for us but understand it would not be for everyone. The shower cubicle leaked onto the floor which seems to be a big problem in most rooms which needs addressing. Our t.v. which did have a few English Channels did not work, not a big deal for us but it did take 3 days for it to be fixed. These were the only negatives to our stay. The positives certainly outweighed them. All the staff that we encountered, cleaners, reception, waiting, kitchen and bar staff were very efficient and friendly. The food quality and selection at breakfast and dinner was as good if not better than anywhere else we have stayed. Our sleep quality was good, it was quiet and we found the bed and pillows comfortable. For these reasons we are seriously considering returning to this hotel and beautiful Peguera in the future.

Arrived 4th May and there was still some work getting done but very little disruption. The communal areas are beautiful. Lovely rooftop area, plenty of comfy sunbeds. Staff are helpful and friendly. Im very picky and dont eat dairy and I was still able to find enough to eat, although I will admit its not a great selection if vegan/veggie. We had a standard room. Fully refurbed, spotless and modern if a little short on wardrope space. But its all you need. Even a real plug in hairdryer and not one of those awful wall mounted ones! The shower and toliet is a little odd as they are in the room, boxed out with frosted glass. So just be aware of that when booking if you are very shy 😁. Shower 'box' leaked a bit but just put a towel down and problem solved.

We came for a week on 8th May was looking forward to it until the week before when there was a bad review .so was abit worried but should not have been..the hotels excellent the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and a big choice for breakfast and dinner .the pool bar had a very good choice of snacks and drinks. Rooms were spotless .loads of sun lougers to pick from around the hotel..drinks were reasonable priced and entertainment every night.which was good. If come back to peguera. Would definitely stay here.

We arrived in the hotel at midnight last Friday. When we fully took in our surroundings we were disappointed with what we found. There is little storage in the room-2 small drawers and a rail which held about eight hangers and no door so everything is in full view. The same could be said of the ‘bathroom’ or rather the two glass enclosures one for toilet and one for shower. The wash basin reminds us of our childhood in the middle last century when we didn’t have proper bathrooms. Again there are no shelves and no grab rails. We have been married 55 years so there is little we don’t know about each other but we do still like to do a few things in private. We had also had our travel agent contact jet2 when we saw the initial reports and were reassured that all would be well. However we don’t think this is a good place for the elderly or infirm eg the seats in the lounge area are so low that I have had to be helped to stand up again; the hotel is up a steep hill and in the hotel we nearly slipped on the bedroom floor before discovering that the shower leaks and we feel that glass cubicles are unsafe if we were to slip and fall. We did see a wall divider topple in the dining room when an older man tried to use it as a prop to sit down. Obviously the divider was not properly fixed to the wall! However when we plugged the kettle in and all the lights tripped, the staff worked very hard to get things put right and everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is very good and there are no problems getting seats or loungers by the pool. We like Peguera but this has not been the best hotel for us.

On day 3 today and overall it’s a nice hotel. There are a few things i think are worth mentioning before i’d recommend the hotel. The first thing we noticed was that the shower leaks at the bottom of the door. Since the shower cubicle is in our room (as it’s open plan) we’ve had to place a towel outside the bottom of the door to prevent a puddle in our room. we weren’t the only ones with a shower problem as we spoke to another person visiting and they said they had a similar problem. The staff are friendly and have had no problems with rudeness and have helped where needed. We didn’t realise that you have to pay for the water here as we asked for tap water with dinner and were charged for bottled water. i’d suggest bringing your own bottle if you didn’t want to pay an extra £2.60 for 500ml water between the two. Considering water is free with breakfast and we’re half board, i would also like to think it’s a necessity with dinner. I would also check prices of drinks before you order as i’ve had to take back a 200ml cocktail , with two large ice cubes , in a plastic cup, back to the bar for a refund as i was charged €8.50 for it. The previous day i was charged the same, however the drink was, this time, bigger than my sun cream bottle. The last thing is, i understand that the hotel is newly renovated which is clearly stated on the holiday website, however, it is STILL UNDER renovation. Outside of our room are still building site noises which can be disturbing at times and this is also heard at breakfast as it’s in the room next door to the dining hall. I know this won’t be forever but for the time being the building work seems to be on going and can be disturbing. There are things in the advertisement such as a gymnasium and spa/massage area, however, when we arrived and looked around, the gym is not ready and there is no spa nor massages available.

My husband and myself came to this hotel on the 5th of May. I understand the guests that arrived the week before us, had a rather unsatisfactory experience. Whilst there are still some minor issues, we have in the main had a great time here. First the problems, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall. The shower can cause a mini flood, if not angled correctly (this can be trial and error). The rooms follow the modern design, which some find difficult, the toilet and shower are separate cubicles with frosted glass sides. This is fine for my husband and myself, but would find it off putting if I was sharing with a friend. The wardrobes are the open design, with only two drawers (we left underwear in our case, so it was fine). The room is light and bright, with attractive decor. There is a good mirror with light surround and socket nearby, making it easy to get ready for dinner. There is a good hairdryer in the room to. Most importantly the beds are very comfortable, with quality pillows. The hotel is in a quiet area, with the main ***** and beach a short walk away. A kettle and fridge are provided, which is very handy, but you have to source your own coffee, tea and milk. The staff have all been lovely, and we have felt very welcome and looked after. The pool area is nice and clean, with plenty of sunbeds. We have enjoyed the evening entertainment, and the quality and price of drinks is good. I have enjoyed some of the daily activities, provided by Victoria. All in all we have enjoyed our holiday, and have met lots of lovely people.

Visited opening weekend , builders still on site , lots of snagging and health and safety issues to resolve , suggest checking with tour operator before arrival. The toilet cubicle and show cubicle won’t be to everyone’s liking, plus our shower leaked all over the floor … no gym or sauna available, no coffee making facilities other than a kettle and cups …. No complementary water as you would expect in a deluxe room? Food good quality and selection , struggle to replenish when busy , and table service struggled with drinks and clearing tables …. Roof top terrace furniture covered in dust and not cleaned properly during our stay …. Lots of exposed wiring and trip hazards …. Pity it was not completed before opening , they have lots to do in coming weeks to achieve the standards they are aiming for.
