Mount Ceres

We arrived a little late but no problem, the owner Ruth gave us a warm welcome. She gave us a suite in a very large room, which was awesome! We had two single beds with handmade sheets and pillowcases, handmade curtain clips on the windows, even a cute rocking chair, and a variety of toiletries in the bathroom. These far exceeded our expectations! There was a large tray filled with various cookies and hot drinks. There are modern television sets. There were electric blankets on both beds which was great as it was very cold that night! We were told that if we had any needs we could just ask! Old fashioned courtesy that matches the price perfectly. Yes, breakfast is not included in the price, but considering the price, it's totally fine to eat something nearby. We were so happy to stay here for one night! Highly recommend this family hotel.

It went above and beyond our expectations! There was a large tray with a selection of biscuits and hot drinks. There was a modern TV. There were electric blankets on both beds which was great as it was very cold that night! We were told to ask for anything we needed! Old fashioned courtesy that matched the price perfectly. Yes, breakfast was not included but considering the price it was no problem to go out and eat nearby. We were so glad we were able to stay one night! Highly recommend this B&B.

The Ceres Mountain Inn is great, no one is better than them. Ruth is a consummate host who is always there to help her guests. The room was stocked with every conceivable item, from nail polish remover to porridge. Ceres Mountain is now about 20 minutes from central Edinburgh, but that's really not a problem. It takes less than 5 minutes for guests to get to the bus station from the hotel. Bus No. 31 can go to the city. It is so convenient! We loved it here and would definitely come back if we were in Edinburgh again.

Ceres Hill Guest House is amazing, you can't ask for more. Ruth is a perfect host and always there to help. The room was stocked with every item imaginable, from nail polish remover to porridge. Now Ceres Hill is about 20 minutes from central Edinburgh, but this really wasn't a problem. Guests are less than 5 minutes from the guest house to the bus stop, and the 31 bus goes into the city, which is so convenient! We loved it here and would definitely stay again if we were to come back to Edinburgh.
