Four Points by Sheraton Peoria

You can tell that this location has been updated recently. The front exterior is very inviting and a decent amount of room for pulling up to valet. The two gentleman that approached us were very nice and professional. Valet is $21 a day. I was happy to pay it because I’ve payed WAY more in other cities. Front desk staff were nice. The lobby is huge and also seems like it’s been renovated recently. The room was nice and spacious. Bathroom was a little cramped, but nothing to complain about. Mattress and pillows were soft and comfortable. All linens were clean and fresh. If I found myself needed a hotel in Peoria in the future, I would definitely stay here again.
Extended Stay America Suites - Peoria - North

This place is suitable for neither extended nor stay. It is not even a real hotel. On a scale 0 to 10 where 0 is spending the night on a park bench and 10 is getting pampered at a Ritz Carlton, I rate this place a 2. One notch above a dump. Let me explain: The Grab-n-Go breakfast they hype about is not much more than a basket of vending machine quality muffins, Dollar Store quality breakfast bars, warm watered down coffee, and check this out, Quaker Oatmeal packets with no bowls, cups, milk, or microwave to make oatmeal. The whole breakfast bar is about the same size as the end table in your bedroom, by your bed where you place your phone, watch and glasses as you turn of the light. Front desk service is below terrible. Very unprofessional both in behavior and attire didn't let me check in because she could not find my company's reservation authorization in her computer. I gave her a reservation number. No help. She said she wouldn't let me in unless I have a payment information in the system. I showed her a screen shot of my reservation which *clearly* states that my payment guarantee is in the system; her response: this means nothing to me unless I find it here. I ended up calling my work and get the credit card information again so I can be checked in. In the meantime I am waiting in the lobby soaking wet and tired after a full day work field work on a rainy and cold day and it doesn't even occur to her to say ”go ahead go to your room, relax, rest while I sort out why I can't see your payment information”. I have never met a hotel front desk staff who looks at their hotel's reservation confirmation and said ”this means nothing to me”. The rooms are very aged, out-of-date. There is kitchen but no microwave, no dishwasher. There are cabinets but no plates, glasses, pot and pans. Nothing, just bare cabinets. So my advice: The are way better options in Peoria.
Candlewood Suites Peoria at Grand Prairie

This hotel needs two separate ratings. The first one is for the staff. Every staff person I talked to was genuinely nice, helpful, and friendly. The staff is WONDERFUL. Five stars for the staff. The pantry in the lobby is nice and quite affordable. I used it a lot and appreciate that the pricing for items was fair. I didn't use the lending library of kitchen appliances but it looked like it had a lot of decent items that would be helpful for someone staying long-term. The rooms on the other hand are one star rooms right now. The bed and mattress are the absolute worst I've ever slept on, without a doubt. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I had back and neck problems the entire time I stayed here and for several days after. The mattresses are so incredibly old and worn out that they are sunken-in and offer absolutely no support. The rest of the room was decent and I had no complaints, but the mattresses are so bad that it ruins the entire experience. We ended up staying in Peoria longer than we had the room reserved, but decided not to extend our stay at this hotel simply because we couldn't sleep on the beds any longer. The staff tell me the hotel will be renovated this spring and I'm really glad to hear that. Once the renovations are done, I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed in rm 314. Pros - Room was clean. Bathroom tub/shower, floors, base of the toilet. Sink area, closet space. Rug was vacuumed well. Clean fridge (didn't open or use the microwave). Coffee fully stocked. No dust. Headboard even appeared to be wiped down (which I really appreciate and some hotel chains don't do regularly enough). Bedding was clean and had a light fresh scent. Nice tv, firm bed. Very comfortable. Breakfast area was good. A lot to choose from, good variety. They had proteins (boiled eggs, eggs cooked to fit on muffins and bacon) of course a large variety of carbs too. Customer service, check in, check out and breakfast attendant were all friendly. Nice area. Close to a lot, restaurants, shopping mall. Cons - No shampoo was in our room. Didn't notice it until the morning. I'm sure if I called the front desk they'd have no problem getting it to us. We had a little left in a travel size bottle in our bag. Just used what we had left and made it work for both of us. At 3:30am we heard an adult size person run down the hallway.

Staff member : Jakob (Front desk) - Jakob made my stay quick , comfortable and secure. He was very professional with a light hearted spirit that made the long day feel like tonight I came to the proper place for rest. This season can be hard on many; but for his kindness and compassion towards myself and others staying, I must say he makes a woman feel safe. That is a feeling only a few can say they experience when staying alone. Jakob always kept an observant eye on the grounds , maintained the standards of presentation of the property (collecting bottles and garbage). Yet the action that mattered the most was making sure a woman staying alone at night remained safe. He is a 5 star employee and a true asset to the business ! Next time I visit I’ll make sure to ask “How has Jakob been ? :)” Happy Holidays, move with light and love . Sincerely , Kelsea P
Hampton Inn & Suites Peoria at Grand Prarie

This is a very nice Hampton Inn with a great breakfast. The oatmeal was homemade, not instant, especially good with added fresh banana slices, walnuts, and brown sugar. A waffle bar was available plus French toast slices, egg and cheese on English muffins, and also sausage meats, and more. The room and bathroom were very clean with plenty of towels and extra amenities. Tiffany, the general manager was friendly and accommodating which shows throughout the hotel. We’ll come back on our next visit to Peoria!
