I would say the best familyrun hotel I've stayed in Greece. Spacious, bright, clean and tastefully decorated rooms, with amazingly good beds. Thank you Tula and family, for taking such good care of us and being such sweet and friendly hosts

This is a small and really nice hotell. The owners are so kind and helpfull. My mother in law had an accident on the trip, but we got so much help from the owners. A big thanks from us to them ❤ It is really clean everywhere, the rooms are modern and fresh. A small saltwater pool, and a jaccuzi, but big enough for all the guests to cool down. A lot of sunbeds also. Short 15 minutes walk to Pétra, and about the same walk to Anaxosm both has lovley beaches. Would really recommend this hotell!

We had an amazing holiday @Defkalion: new and super clean apartments with great beds, super facilities like a swimming pool and gym, tasty breakfast and the love of the sweet owners mama Toula & son Steven. I loved the fact that they were really aware of customers needs (extra strollers for example). The only disadvantage with kids was the distance to center..it is 1.6 km. Not too far, but quite a challenge for the kids especially at the end of a tiring beach day. But definitely worth looking at all we got! If we will go again to Lesbos we will definitely visit the family again! We never felt so much home in a hotel/apartment complex.

Initially I was a bit worried staying here without a car but it ended up not being a problem. There is a local bus that goes by roughly hourly, and the walk to/from town is an easy 20-minute stroll (if you avoid the middle of a summer’s day!). In the evening, there were many couples heading back to hotels in the same direction so it never felt unsafe. A footpath would be nice, though! The hotel is *lovely*. Everything is new and the rooms have been very well thought out. There are handy power points, a Nespresso machine, a good set of cookware, a full set of dinnerware, and an ultra modern shower that seems straight from Japan. Beds have duvets (rare for Greece!) and little things like having a clothes drying rack along with an iron and ironing board do make a difference for a longer-term stay. Rooms to the back, away from the road, will have a better view but I didn’t really want to sit outside because the inside is just so nice! Noise was not an issue due to soundproof windows and sliding doors. Shout out also to Real Lesvos who recommended the hotel to me. Thank you!!

Clean, modern, cozy rooms, an excellent breakfast (highlight the homemade jams) and a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Positioned in between, and near, the beaches of Anaxos and Petra. Will come again.

Due to an overbooking of another accommodation we ended up at Hotel Defkalion. A warm welcome from owner Tula. She understood that we had to get used to the idea that we had to stay in a different accommodation this week than we had booked. But what a wonderful apartment. Really equipped with all conveniences. As good as new room with wonderful beds. Beautiful kitchen that is equipped with all conveniences with even a Nespresso machine and not unimportant, air conditioning. Excellent bathroom with rain shower. There is a swimming pool (salt water) with a large separate bubble bath and sufficient sunbeds (half of which can be in the shade) We did not use it but breakfast is possible. Apartment is located between Petra and Anaxos. Petra is a 20 minute walk. Anaxos about 15 minutes. The beach of Avlaki is a 10 minute walk. Tula, thank you for the hospitality. What a paradise and what lovely people, delicious breakfast, small scale, very clean, nice beds, swimming pool and jacuzzi top, good gym with top quality equipment, beautiful rooms with a view. Toula is amazing, she makes the most delicious jam and cake, and what a sweetheart. We are completely equipped. With the rental car we drove around Lesbos, but certainly also often visited Anaxos, Petra and Molivos for the beach and nice restaurants. Love for Toula

Large spacious rooms, a great pool and jacuzzi. Very good mattresses, slept very well except for the traffic. Very nice complex between Petra and Anaxos (right in the middle). Quiet away from the center, but some noise from the main road. Well equipped with iron, drying rack on the terrace, nice kitchen. Breakfast was very basic, this may be because the hostess was not present. A bit of an unfortunate timing due to family circumstances of the owner. For the rest, the staff was very friendly. I did not take photos of the hotel because everything is exactly as on their site or other booking sites.

Quiet location, everything within walking distance. Lovely room with fantastic beds. Top breakfast. The yacuzzi by the pool is a party every day. Owner Toula and her team are always there for you. This was the 1st time Lesbos for us, but we will definitely go back to Defkalion.
