Sino House Phuket Hotel

The location is excellent, I'd say it's right in the center of Phuket Town, making it convenient to get everywhere. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to popular photo spots and restaurants. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street. No mosquitoes in the hotel, and the front desk service was fantastic, very welcoming and enthusiastic. It feels like it caters mainly to Chinese guests. The room was spacious enough, and for the price, it's quite reasonable given how much hotel prices in Thailand have surged in recent years. For breakfast, you order the day before downstairs, choosing from a few set menus, and then it's delivered to your room at your chosen time the next morning, which is great service. Downsides: Since it's in the city center, there can be noisy motorbikes outside late at night. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider, though we found it tolerable. The breakfast taste was just okay. We stayed for two days, and on the morning we checked out early, we told them we didn't need breakfast but just the juice from the set menu delivered to our room. However, they didn't send the juice; instead, they gave us bottled water.

The room was excellent, and the staff were lovely. It also seemed like the room had been recently renovated.

Location and hygiene are both great. It's very close to Phuket Town. The only issue is the air conditioner is too noisy; I had to wear earplugs to sleep.

The soundproofing is really poor, so if you're a light sleeper, don't stay here. Also, whether the AC works well is a hit or miss. We switched rooms because the first one's AC wasn't good, and while the new room's AC worked, it was incredibly noisy. I ended up turning it off in the middle of the night to sleep. The room itself was spacious, and the cleanliness was decent. There was basically no service. The blackout lining on the curtains was torn from sun damage, probably hasn't been replaced in ages.
