"What a fantastic family-friendly resort! We had a spacious family room for four, enjoyed an extensive breakfast spread, and loved the massive water park and kids' play area. Our room, though located in the furthest building, was wonderfully quiet and clean. A pleasant surprise for us southerners, it didn't feel humid at all. Even our late-night check-in was incredibly smooth!
I got to experience scuba diving for the first time right by the pool and even practiced my English – what a double treat! All for just over 60 RMB, it was absolutely incredible value! The instructor was incredibly patient, and I had a blast learning!
Convenient self-service laundry facilities are located right outside, operating 24/7 with wash and dry cycles completing in about an hour. There's also a massage parlor just outside, boasting excellent techniques and a great ambiance. You'll find convenience stores on both sides of the hotel, and a mere 10-minute walk to the right will lead you to durians for just 24 RMB each – a real bargain!
Free parking is available for guests who are driving, making it super convenient to explore the area!"

"Amazing Stay at Beyond Patong!
I had a fantastic stay at Beyond Patong from July 27–31, 2025. The hotel was clean, modern, and in a great location—just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.
The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a great view of the pool and ocean. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after exploring Phuket.
Trip.com made the entire booking process seamless. The confirmation was instant, the price was reasonable (CNY 3,182.88 for 4 nights), and everything went exactly as expected. I highly recommend both Beyond Patong and Trip.com for a hassle-free vacation experience.

"The hotel is good for families with kids because of the fun water slides and the kids pool, and they have a stamping game to collect stamps from different part of hotel to redeem gift for kids. Overall the hotel is quite old and need a lot of improvement. Like our room, the shower drain is clogged everytime bath, and on the last day the toilet is clogged. And we were badly bitten by bed bugs even I sprayed bed bug spray it didn’t work, in the end we requested to change mattress and it improved. And have to be careful about the bugs bite and mosquitoes bite everywhere. The breakfast is average, we stayed for 5 night the breakfast is almost the same everyday. Nonetheless the staff were friendly and location is almost included as free pick up whenever you sign up any island tour, also convenient to get food around."

The front desk and housekeeping staff provided great service — polite, friendly, and always smiling. However, there was one incident at the restaurant that left me a bit disappointed.
On the first evening, my family and I planned to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. When we arrived, I noticed two staff members lying on the sofa inside the restaurant. At first, I wasn’t sure if they were employees, so I asked about the corkage fee for bringing our own wine. The staff informed me that there would be a 50 THB charge for the ice bucket, and that drinking wine inside the restaurant was not allowed — only in the guest room. I agreed and walked away.
After that, I noticed the same two staff members went back to lie down on the sofa again, which didn’t look appropriate and left a poor impression.
Later, I called room service to order food and requested an ice bucket with two wine glasses. The staff confirmed and brought the ice bucket, but without the glasses. When I called again to ask, they told me, “We don’t have wine glasses.”
That was quite surprising, as a hotel that provides wine service would normally have wine glasses available.
Overall, I really liked the hotel — the location, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere were all excellent. However, the restaurant staff’s behavior and attention to detail should be improved to better reflect the standard of such a nice hotel.
I truly hope the management will take this feedback into consideration to enhance the guest experience even further. 🌿"

"We stayed at Homa as the first part of our 3 location 2 week holiday in Thailand. It was an excellent way to start our holiday at the end of a long-haul flight.
The hotel is modern, fresh, ideally located and with excellent facilities. The staff were fantastic, extremely courteous and polite and always willing to help. The reception staff were great and a special thank you to Alice, she was awesome providing advice on tourist locations and restaurants to visit.
The room (Studio Cool XL) was perfect, roomy, modern with everything needed. The gym facilities were great for cardio and weights and there are even daily gym classes covering a variety of options from Thai boxing, to stretching to weights with the gym instructors being enthusiastic and fun (A special shout out to Ang/Hang for his enthusiastic all over weights session). The roof top pool and sun lounging area was really special, amazing views and lots of room to relax and swim.
Although the location is a little out of the main town, there are endless local restaurants nearby providing really great street food at 'local' thai prices, far more enjoyable than being ripped off in the centre of town. There's also a local night market walkable from the hotel.
The hotel also offers FREE town bikes for guests to use, this provided a great opportunity to get around the area and see the full character of Phuket Old Town from the seat of a bike rather than a taxi or bus. Highly recommend to make use of the bikes.
Overall we loved our stay at Homa, we were made to feel so welcome and the hotel staff and facilities were perfect."

"Strategic location for sure, easy access to everywhere.
Walking distance to beach, shopping malls, plenty shops nearby.
Even if we had to go further places, motorbike rental shops are just outside of the hotel, allowing easy rental and return.
Well equipped gym room, one for cardio exercises with treadmill, rowing machine etc. The other with dumbells, kettlebells, and strength training machines.
Pool is decent and lots of beach chairs provided.
Downside is noise might be noticeable if you are light sleeper. As it is so near to Bangla street where parties are usually on till midnights.
Also there was some renovation work going on, they did it in the afternoon.
Bath tub is a little small but just nice for petite. Perhaps tall people will find it too small."

"The two-bedroom apartment is ideal for families with children. Overall, it was a good stay. It's very convenient for reaching the beach and dining options, with shuttle boat services and paid tuk-tuks available.
Upon check-in, a front desk staff member in a blue uniform initially assigned us a room at the very end of the secondary building. Although we had booked a lake view, the room's location meant we could hear motorcycles from the road and a noisy flock of birds in the garden downstairs. My booking notes were completely disregarded. I immediately called the front desk to request a room change, and a very kind and helpful staff member in a pink uniform then led us to a central room in the main building. The view from there was excellent; we could see both the lake and the distant sea right from our bed, and it was also very quiet. Many thanks to that lovely girl!
Overall, it would have been a perfect stay if not for that minor hiccup during check-in."

"Firstly, this hotel is incredibly spacious. The bed size is really big too and the AC works wonders. They have a big bath tub and it’s honestly value for money. The location is great because it’s close to everything and surprisingly soundproof. However, the cleaning can be a lot better and the sheets had a stain on it but they quickly fixed the problem."

"This resort has a beautiful pool area, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. It has decent facilities but they are in need of maintenance and repair. We were there during the wet season and the ceiling in the restaurant leaked in several places, soaking the chairs. They placed towels on the floor at the entrance to wipe off your feet every morning but didn’t change them all day, so they were usually waterlogged and filthy. There is a movie theatre for the kids, which is lovely, but the screen is a white tarpaulin which is too reflective, making it hard to watch. Breakfast is okay, but the bread is often stale, the fruit was not very fresh, and the coffee in the urn was just instant coffee. You can order proper coffee (cappuccino, espresso, etc) from the ice cream shop next to the restaurant area, and we discovered upon checkout that they didn’t charge us for this, but included it in the breakfast, which was great! But because they don’t advertise this, and because the ice cream shop appears closed until 10:00, most guests suffer through with instant coffee, not knowing there are other options. There are several bar areas where you should be able to order snacks and drinks and exchange towels, but they were never staffed, and it was hard to find anyone to help. There was an incident one night with an electrical fire at 3 AM and the staff who cleaned up the mess in front of our rooms did so with loud shouting conversations for over an hour, while pushing water loudly across the floor with shovels. The next morning, instead of offering an apology, the manager greeted us by asking when we were leaving, which seemed an odd and unprofessional way to initiate a conversation about guest satisfaction. The rooms smelled musty and dank, and housekeeping didn’t regularly clean the rooms and change towels, unless we specifically asked them to. They usually came to check the rooms in the evening when we were already getting into bed. The beach is beautiful but it is across the road and reaching it requires walking through an unattractive garbage-strewn field. There are lifeguards and they did a good job marking safe areas to swim, but the beach is not ideal for young children as there is a strong undertow. The kids loved the slides and the pool and overall we had a good stay, but unless this hotel receives some upgrading and better maintenance, we would not stay here again."

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature).
While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order.
But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny.
Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.”
After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime.
This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol.
I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high?
In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out.
I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average.
P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

From the moment we arrived, Hyatt Regency Phuket impressed us with its stunning ocean views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and came with a breathtaking view of the Sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. We also loved the pool area — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sunset.
Special mention to the shuttle service that made getting around Patong and Kamala so convenient. The hotel truly offers a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, relaxing and great service.
We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!

Almost all staffs were distant and did not give out a five star hotel kind of services. Birthday arrangement was honored, thank you to the team. The pool was very nice and the activities were varied. Staff was super nice and friendly. The room has an old smell but it's clean. We brought our room spray. So it's all good. The bed was nice and room was super cosy. We definitely will come again to this hotel..!
