The hotel experience was fantastic, and the breakfast was great too. Our room had a direct ocean view, and Karon Beach was just across the road. It's also very close to Kata Beach. I'm not sure why hotels in Phuket generally have such low ratings.

Not bad at all! The AC was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the creamy mushroom pasta 🍝.

The location of the resort is really perfect as the beach is across the street, no loud bars or clubs are nearby making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beach. None the less everything you need is a short walk from the hotel (restaurants markets.. etc) The staff are really the nicest and most helpful whenever you need them.

Service: One of the receptionists was very nice and spoke Chinese; the male staff member was a bit more serious. The restaurant staff were also very good. Cleanliness: Overall, it was acceptable. The shower head was a bit old and had limescale, and some areas weren't cleaned thoroughly, but otherwise, it was fine. Environment: The environment was good, with several pools, and Karon Beach was just across the road. Facilities: A bit old, but acceptable. The pool facilities were good. Overall, it was still good. The location was excellent, not far from a small street nearby, and there was also a commercial area a short walk south.

The hotel is in a prime location, super close to the beach – just cross the road. Karon Beach is long and beautiful, and the hotel's many pools are clean. The breakfast is fantastic, even with pizza! Karon Beach has pretty big waves, and you can catch the sunset. Our 'Pool Blue Room' was bright and spacious, overall, everything was great.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just across the street from Karon Beach. The staff are also very friendly, always greeting you when you come and go. As for the facilities, for the price, they're just okay, but it's clean, which is good, and breakfast is decent. We booked two nights for a stopover before our island hopping trip. No surprises, but no complaints either.

This hotel was good. While it doesn't seem particularly old, the overall service quality and attention to detail were definitely there. However, many things weren't very obvious, like the free yoga mats provided for the beach or the free toys available at the pool. The signage for these amenities wasn't clear, which often left me confused. Everything else was indeed good. The breakfast was very rich, fresh, and had plenty of fruit. The room was a bit older, requiring a key to open the door, but they thoughtfully left the key card inserted for power, which was a nice touch. The room cleaning was also timely and thorough. Now, about the complimentary services the hotel offered, I actually found them a bit excessive. Things like free fries and free drinks. If you're going to offer them, the quality could be better. If the offerings are very ordinary, it felt a bit like a letdown, creating a discrepancy with the overall positive environment. However, considering the off-season price, none of these 'flaws' are really flaws. The positives make it very worthwhile to visit. The off-season price was less than 300 RMB per night for a king room, including breakfast for two, which is incredibly good value overall.

That trendy hotel with the giant slide was just too damp for me; it made my skin itch, so I couldn't stand it and moved to this Island View hotel, just 200 meters away. It totally exceeded my expectations! The room was big and clean, and surprisingly, despite being so close to the beach, it wasn't humid at all. The bedding was especially dry and comfortable. Every staff member was super friendly. Plus, dining, shopping, and massages are all conveniently located nearby. Next time I'm in Phuket, I'm definitely staying here again. Great value for money! The room size is generous, easily accommodating three people.

The hotel service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was absolutely no discrimination against Chinese guests. A waitress named NOK was especially enthusiastic and even learned Chinese with my baby, which was a lovely touch.

The room is similar to a business hotel in my home country, well-equipped and quite spacious, with a balcony. The environment is nice and quiet. It's just a short walk across the road to the beach, and there are many restaurants right outside. The breakfast was also good. The only downside is that the air conditioning is quite noisy. It's not close to the airport shuttle bus. If you're coming from the Karon Roundabout, it's about a 20-minute walk. I wonder if I got off at the wrong stop. 😭😭

Excellent value for money, and the quality is superb. The pool is crystal clear and clean. Since it's the rainy season, there weren't many people. Every staff member greeted us warmly. The breakfast was delicious, and there's a ping-pong table to play. Guests also get a discount at the hotel restaurant, and lunch was very tasty. Highly recommended!

Every time I visit Phuket, I only stay at this hotel. It's right on the beach, and the hotel even upgraded my room. They're constantly renovating their facilities; this time, the pool near the breakfast area was being refurbished. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily, always spotless. I noticed more Chinese guests this time, but Russians still make up the majority. The front desk staff, a young woman, could speak a few basic Chinese phrases this time, though not perfectly. It's clear the hotel is making an effort to improve the experience for Chinese guests. However, a common issue in Phuket is the need for a filtered shower head. I look forward to staying here again next year.

I highly recommend Phuket Island View Resort to anyone visiting Phuket, especially for its excellent value for money. It's located right on Karon Beach; you just step out and the sea is right there. While you can't see the ocean directly from the room, it's literally beachside. The room itself is very spacious and clean, and the hot water works perfectly. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and the location makes it super convenient to get around. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Phuket!
