Ban Raya Resort and Spa

The water of Thailand's Emperor Island is so clear and beautiful, but the conditions are so bad. My son vomited 6 times that night. He also had a fever. I had the same symptoms one day later than him. I went to the front desk to borrow medicine on the island, but they said there was none. The pharmacy had none, and they kept emphasizing that if you leave early, you won't get your money back. I had to ask for help in the group and borrow medicine from my neighbors, and waited until the next day to leave the island. Let me talk about the conditions on the island. The breakfast was very simple, not to mention that it was full of flies. I was disgusted. Look at how many flies crawled on the bread. The water on the island was very dirty. My neighbor took a bath with filter cotton 3 times and it was disgusting. He said that you couldn't use that water to brush your teeth. I didn't believe it before. Is it so serious? I really believe it. The room is completely soundproof. The cicadas outside are calling, and the peacocks are calling louder and more ugly than crows. It's really a pain. After getting off the boat, the leader said that Lamborghini would take us to the hotel. I knew he was joking, but I was still shocked. It was a big tractor with a blue roof. Don't mention the dusty dirt road. There are too many people to squeeze in domestic tourism, but there are not so many people abroad. The conditions are really that the Chinese people live too happily. It is unimaginable garbage. I love my motherland. A late check-out fine of 1,000 baht per hour.

I looked at three hotels on Emperor Island, and this one has the best value for money. You can snorkel right outside your room (other hotels require you to walk to the coast to snorkel), the environment is more natural and pristine, and the rooms are simply decorated but clean. The food in the hotel restaurant is average, and the items in the canteen are more expensive.

I stayed on the island for three nights. The price/performance ratio was very high. I was more satisfied than expected. The room was very clean. There were many coral fish and it was very suitable for snorkeling. The only thing that could be improved was that there were more flies.

Secluded, nice place with helpful staff. We took a bungalow and there was everything except a refrigerator, but this did not spoil our vacation. Snow-white bed, towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, hair balm, toothbrush, hairdryer. The air conditioner couldn't cope a little in the heat, but in the evening everything was fine. The territory is very large: we met a monitor lizard, buffaloes, peacocks, chickens and ducks - they all live together on the territory 🙂. Breakfast was included, buffet style, with fruit provided separately. There is a toaster, you can toast bread. They gave you an egg, an omelet, sausages, noodles, rice, vegetables and even oatmeal 🤤, in general, you won’t go hungry. On the territory there is a swimming pool overlooking the sea, a bar with light and pleasant music and a restaurant - lunch and dinner were taken there, a little more expensive than in Phuket, but still affordable. The menu is varied, there are two serving sizes, we took S, and we weren’t hungry, although by the 7th day of the trip we had already eaten enough shrimp, ordered beef and fish - everything was delicious 🙌. The beach is rocky, an ideal place for snorkeling, they provide a free vest, mask, and access to a hammock and umbrella. You can rent a bike or a bike, but we went on foot to 3 bays (there are 5 of them on the island, they give you a map, but we went using Maps.me). There are a lot of swings, with different types - we took a lot of beautiful photos 🤩🤩🤩. There are no crowds of tourists in the hotel, or rather they are there, but somewhere, and it seems that no one is there. Mostly Chinese come, so people at the reception speak Thai, Chinese and English. Separately, there is an opportunity to go to the Spa: we ordered a foot and body massage for 2 hours, I almost fell asleep, we liked everything 🌺🌺🌺. There are no noisy parties on site, which was perfect for us. There is transport to the white sand bay, we also went for free 🙂. When we left, we were given a calendar, it was very touching and nice. If we return to Thailand again, we will definitely come here again. I recommend this place to everyone, especially those who are looking for peace, tranquility and peace 🧘🐬🐙🌴🥥

There are three hotels on the island. This one is the most friendly to the people and definitely has the best value for money. This value for money is mainly reflected in the environment and area. It is close to Kon Kare Bay, which is the most suitable for diving on the island. However, snorkeling is not allowed on windy days. You can go to Racha Beach or Siam Beach for snorkeling. The former has more fish. The water quality is better. There are almost no people in the latter, the water is very shallow and full of dead corals. The other two beaches only take about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. Although the hotel restaurant does not have much food, it is delicious and not expensive. It is more expensive to eat at the other two hotels. You can get a lot of surprises in the hotel, and it is very pleasant to walk around. The only drawback is that the room layout is a bit simple, but it is nothing compared to the overall environment. Overall, Ban Raya is the most recommendable of the only three hotels on the island.
