The inn is quaint and cozy, clean and well kept. Location is great, near to the main street and attractions but off a small lane so it is quiet. The inn keeper was warm and friendly, provided free breakfast and picked us from and to the city gate! The inn keeper is a very nice person, willing to help and give directions.

I was captivated by the seamless blend of traditional Chinese architecture and modern comforts. Nestled in the heart of the ancient city, the hotel's ambiance exudes history, with its classic courtyard design, wooden furnishings, and intricate carvings. The rooms were cozy, offering modern amenities while retaining an old-world charm. The staff were knowledgeable about the local area. Exploring Pingyao’s ancient streets, all within walking distance, was a unique experience.

We really loved it! It is located right in the heart of the ancient city, but in a cozy backyard so it is quiet and easy to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and big. The shower was great with good pressure and hot temperature. Our stay included Breakfast which was very tasty and filling. The hosts were very forthcoming and friendly. We would definetly stay here again.

Once we arrived, we were informed that we were going to stay in a different place, at a different address. So photos do not match, obviously. We were not informed previously. The new hotel was in an amazing building, but the room we got was in a rather bad shape and with a pile of garbage next to the door.

Wonderful Hotel in the city center. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Chinese speaking is a plus but with weChat a conversation was possible as well

My stay was very pleasant, I loved the architecture of the hotel. My room was very cozy and fully stocked. The people are very nice ! They helped me during my trip, they recommended me a place to eat that was very good and good activities around the city. They also made me discovered local specialties. I hugely recommend this hotel !

This location is perfect! the owner is soo friendly. He is super helpful and explains everything about the city. The room was also very nice. Spacious bed, clean bathroom and above all a delicious breakfast every day. I would recommend everyone to stay here!

Our stay has been wonderful. The owner is a very warm and dedicated host. We would recommend this place to anybody staying at Pingyao. The room is cozy and warm. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Definitely a great place!

The hotel is located in an anciet building right in the centre of Pingyao, all the attractions are pretty close. Our host was very friendly and helpful, provided us all the info about the town. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, chinese style breakfast included.

This guesthouse is quaint and cozy. Room is clean. Size of room might be on the smaller side but we hardly spent time in the rooms when we were there so it wasn't an issue for us. Location wise... Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to stay within the ancient city wall that is near enough to the shops without the hustle and bustle of the main streets. We only stayed a night but felt like the staff were neighbours that we have known for a long time. They welcomed us and sent someone to receive us from the city wall (we walked too fast though... and missed them), and on the day we left and were running a bit late they sent someone to see us off and help ferry our luggages. 10/10 would highly recommend this place.

The owner is very helpful and kind, going beyond his duties to share with us on Pingyao attractions and assisting us with luggages to the city entrance. The facility itself is a historical building and conjures lots of imaginations to the travellers.

Cute little inn in the middle of the ancient town. Rooms are clean and both aircon and warm water worked well. The room facilities could use a refresh. The host was very helpful and forthcoming. He showef us the best spots and was super friendly throughout our stay.
