The resort was ok. However I will never book with trip.com again. I booked for the weekend of 3/18, checkout 3/20. I became very ill and requested my trip be moved to the next weekend, the 25th. They charged me $85, sent me a confirmation email and a check in voucher. I arrived at the resort and was informed I had no reservation. I sat with my family in the car until 10pm when they finally let me pay the 2 days resort fee and the $100 deposit. We got our room and went to bed. The next morning I was told it was fixed , no problem. That afternoon the resort told me I had to pay for my reservation as the payment from trip.com had not been received. I did not have the funds to pay again as I'm on Social Security Disabilty and this was a present for my grandson's 11th birthday. After many calls to trip.com and the front desk they decided to refund my money and I paid the resort when I got home. A totally ruined weekend for my family and I.

Our kids LOVED the waterpark of it. Pools were great. The restaurant was closed for renovations. The tiki bar was closed. For our 4 day stay, we never received housekeeping. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Changed our own garbages. Pool towel place rarely had clean towels. Lobby store was understaffed. All employees were nice though.

I stayed at this resort this past weekend. There were several issues during my stay, which I tried to address with staff. The entire stay I was advised that they were taking note; however, a manager was not available at the time. I would be told at 3pm there would be a manager available but would return at the times stated to be told no manager was available. The room had a mildew odor. The phone was not working in the room. The remote in the room was not working, this was the only issue resolved during the stay the following day. Saturday a roach was found crawling in the restroom and I was advised that there were no other rooms available for them to switch me to. I have tried calling since to speak with a manager, only get a recording and no return phone call.
Dead roaches were also found by the door. Flamingo water Resort was a horrible experience.

Do not go by the property listing! The restaurant is closed, no outside bar,and hot tub is located in the water park. I didn’t want to rent a car and wanted a resort with everything there. 0 stars

Very old style rooms with spring mattresses. Old carpet in the room, bathroom was very old. The curtain was old, and the towel rack was broken.
