This was the best hotel. They pampered us and made us feel so welcome. The stafff was incredible. The lady who rprepared breakfast in the morning is so kind and caring. I felt like I was treated like royalty. The location of the hotel was incredible. The breakfast was amazing. The room was the best room ever. The made the best tour recommendations and always checked up on us. Very attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Puglia !!!!!!!

We were looking for a memorable vacation and we must say, our stay at San Michele exceeded our expectations! We felt like we were living a dream and was the perfect place to celebrate! The staff, service, food, and amenities were superb! The staff were so accommodating and personable! You could tell they genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay in Polignano by their suggestions, offerings, and knowledge of the town. We look forward to visiting again in the future! 12/10 - highly recommend!

Can’t say enough about this hotel - it’s simply beautiful, with an aesthetic that feels chill and welcoming. We were in two rooms - the first had a bedroom and separated sitting area, and was beautiful. Then we moved to the next room that had a balcony that was just beyond - it’s the one in the photo. The spot is peaceful beyond belief, with the bluest water below, and a great beach. The hotel serves drinks and snacks on the roof on sunset, so even without the balcony you have a space to take in that view. The staff are just fantastic - always making us feel so taken care of. Breakfast also was fabulous. Location also perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

This hotel had the best service. The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were delicious and the happy hour up on a rooftop patio was wonderful. They had parking that was secure, and their location was right on the water. We will return. Special shout out to Serina, the super woman who went above and beyond to make our stay even more special.

We had a great stay at San Michele Suites overlooking the bay. The view from our room was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. Having drinks in the terrace at the end of everyday was a bonus. Breakfast was included in our stay and we enjoyed that as well.

What a beautiful hotel, made even better by the people who work there! My three daughters, my husband and I spent three nights there for our first visit to the Puglia region. If you have not been to the south of Italy before, definitely go now! San Michele, located in Polignano a Mare, served as a perfect base to explore the region. Make sure to stay in a suite at San Michele with a sea view. Plan to attend the evening apertif hour on the rooftop with gorgeous views of the sunset and cliffs. Savor the delicious breakfast served by the fabulous Serena -- one of the nicest and most welcoming people that I have ever met at a hotel. Speak with Valentina about booking a motor boat tour of the caves. Take a tour of UNESCO sights, also arranged by Valentina. If planning to go to Puglia, you have found your hotel. You will not be disappointed!

This was one of the most amazing places we've ever stayed (and we've traveled a lot). The views are incredible--definitely book your room early so you can get a sea view room--it's worth it! If you can't get it, be sure to enjoy the evening drinks and fabulous snacks on their balcony, which has an amazing sea view. In addition to its fabulous location, the staff is also what makes this place so wonderful. They are SO helpful and will do anything they can to make your stay perfect. They'll book private tours to other towns and sites in Puglia; they'll make dinner reservations; they'll book boat trips to see the caves dotting the coastline. They are very friendly and will help make your stay there magical. The breakfasts are also great and it is made to order (there are only a few rooms, so they remember what you like and each day they'll ask if you want something similar or different). I rarely post reviews on TA, but this place was so incredible.

Just the most loveliest staff, best breakfast and stunning location. We went on our honeymoon for our two nights and it was magical. Can’t recommend highly enough, you must go! We booked the suite with the terrace overlooking Poligiana de Mare, sensational view.

I could not rave more about my experience at this hotel. After checking in to another hotel we were not happy with the room and were desperately looking for another hotel for just one night. We called this hotel and they not only had a room for us, they came over and took our luggage (there are no cars allowed in the area we were staying) and delivered us to the most beautiful room facing the sea. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff was so accommodating. When it was time to leave they arranged for transportation, walked our luggage to the van and even offered to accompany us to the airport. What a great experience. (The only suggestion I would offer would be blackout shades as the light illuminating the sea sealed into our room. Highly highly recommend.
