Ebb Tide Resort

The hotel's directions were good, easy to find. It was old but clean and on the beach. Very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and inviting. In summary, it served my purpose since it was a business and holiday trip. I would stay again.

Once again We enjoyed our stay at Ebb Tide. It's right on the beach and very comfortable. Sure its old Florida Mom and Pop motel but Karen and Billy do a wonderful job at making sure your comfortable and enjoying the days you relax by the pool or ocean front view. The rooms are clean and housekeeping comes by daily with fresh towels and toilet paper. We have been coming here for years and enjoy each stay. We have meet many people that stay here often and made new friends each time. It's so close to bars, restaurants and pier a very short walk or you can download the app for the Circuit to pick you up and take you there for free. This truly is old Florida so if you want the Ritz then stay at the Ritz, You will truly enjoy yourself here with small kitchen in some rooms and the peace and quiet of a truly down home feeling. Karen was super nice but the accomodations were very outdated and basic amenities like hair dryer, tissues, paper towels and ice among other things were lacking. The location and beach were wonderful. There were stains on the sheets towels furniture etc. I did not put my clothes in the drawers as they did not appear clean

We have been coming to the Ebbtide for many years and it has always been a great stay. The rooms are all different which makes it fun. Our stay has always been comfortable and it’s located on the beach so ideal for those who live the ocean. Nice pool too. Karen has been wonderful to us over the years. We are already booked for next year.

We always have a good time Karen is always so sweet. We have been going to ebb tide now for the last 16 years about 6 or 7 times a year it’s like our second home. There is so much to do and so many places to eat. There is a new fishing pier with lots of restaurants and very kid friendly. There is a nice pool and you just walk out on to the beach. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and has a kitchen and stove and refrigerator. Great place to stay with a family.

My daughter, mother, and I were traveling to Pompano to meet up with local and out-of-state family, Ebb Tide Oceanfront Resort was more than what we needed. The location is ideal, we were able to walk wherever we needed to go and the beach was just steps away. The pool was relaxing and the separate public bathrooms were great for the kiddos. The room had everything we needed and the water pressure felt really good after a day in the sun. My cousin came to visit and enjoyed it so much she decided to spend the last three days of her vacation there!

If you're looking to literally stay on the beach in Pompano Beach at a reasonable cost look no further. This "old Florida" style resort is family owned and the owners couldn't be nicer. The location is premium within a comfortable walking distance from all the restaurants and the new Pompano Pier. The rooms are dated but most importantly, clean. This was our second time staying because the owners are so accomodating and we love the relaxed vibe. There's not very many of these places left and getting a reservation is not as easy as it used to be, so plan in advance. Call in advance to find out what is included in the room including a hair dryer, coffee and toiletries. If you're looking for a party resort, this is not for you. If you're looking to wake up and have your morning coffee outside to watch the sunrise and hear the ocean like we were, you'll enjoy Ebb Tide.

The property is kept very well. Karen the owner is lovely and helpful at all times. I gave it a 4.5 because there was limited counter and storage space in the bathroom, and I had to ask to borrow a hair dryer as there are none kept in the bathrooms. Room floors are new, shower brand new! I loved being right on the beach and Would stay again :)

Positives: location, parking facilities, friendly staff, comfortable bed (although linens were of cheap quality and worn out). Negatives: Dirty room with very dated amenities. The sofa and two sitting chairs were extremely soiled with caked on dirt and hideous stains. We had to put sheets over them in order to sit on them. The floors not well swept when we checked in. Kitchen cabinets were dirty inside and out. Kitchen lacked proper dishware, utensils and bakeware. Also no large bowls (ie for salads). Windows were filthy and window sills and blinds were extremely dusty and had mold present. The toilet was loose so that it moved whenever one sat on it and put uneven weight on it. After it was brought to the attention of management they were not able to replace it for the duration of our stay because of various reasons blamed on retailer. The air conditioner grills and filters were beyond description in their filth. We asked that they be cleaned or changed when we scheduled a housekeeping appointment but they were NOT cleaned. It was so bad that I had to clean them myself because of health and sanitary reasons. (I have pictures if needed). Towels were also old, worn and stained. Entrance door was difficult to open and close and was in need of a coat of paint on the inside. Also, there was only one washing machine available for 18 units and only for half the day and the washer didn’t complete the spin cycle. Clothes were soaked after a wash. The WiFi was non-existent throughout the unit .only worked reliably outside in the courtyard. An incredible amount of time was wasted trying to connect or logon. Very frustrating.
