Obviously the big plus for this place is the beautiful location - it feels isolated and the views are stunning. The other plus for us on a rainy day was sitting in the lodge in front of the beautiful fireplace. On the downside the rooms are basic and the food in the restaurant (which is your only option if you don't want to get into your car) - was average. I would visit again.

sighting is pretty, not much to do. whole place is run down, and bed sheets had many holes so i can see the mattress underneath.

We recently spent two nights in one of the Roosevelt cabins (buy one night, get one free in November!). The cabin was very comfortable: the bathroom was modern, the beds had contemporary mattresses and coverings, we had a fridge, microwave and Keurig, and the free firewood was dry and ready to turn into a cozy fire. The baseboard heating kept every room comfortably warm, too. During the day we enjoyed hiking the Spruce Railroad Trail along the north side of the lake across from the Lodge in cool temps but bright sunshine. The unexpected bonus was the amazing cuisine at the Lake Crescent Lodge Restaurant. If you are fortunate enough to visit in the fall, don't miss the Roasted Brussels Sprouts appetizer. The grilled salmon on lentils with lemon salsa and olives was mouth-watering, too! This chef enjoys his work!!!!

Built in the early 1900s, the Lake Crescent Lodge comes with its own charm. The fire place in the hall is a nice place to spend the evening with a drink from the bar after a very good dinner. The dissapointing experience from our stay was the room. We booked a room in the Marymere complex. The equiment is a bit outdated, which is not that bad, if everything would be in good condition. The room was dusty and dirty, linens not fresh, converters rusty. For $ 200+ per night you should expect more. All in all not worth the money we spent there. What a pitty, one could really make more out of this place and make it a really special experience with just some more effort in cleaning and keeping things in shape.

There were MICE in our cabin that opened two packages of food. The fireplace quit working the second night and the room was extremely smoky. Lodge doesn't open until 8:00 am for coffee????? Room wasn't ready when we checked in. Had to wait an extra 45 minutes. The food in the restaurant was excellent, however.

Lovely lodge - and a stunning location, especially the sunsets! We were lucky with the weather and it was lovely sitting by the lake, or in the covered porch. We had a Marymere room which had a Great Lake view, as with most National park lodges the decor is a little dated, but you aren’t there to sit in the room! There are several trails from or near the lodge, all of them were easy trails. The main lodge has a lovely open fire, and the service in there and the restaurant could not be faulted. We had two dinners and two breakfasts, and all were really good. My only gripe was the total lack of WiFi, not bothered in the room, but would have been useful to have it in the main lodge. Our UK phones did not work in the US, so when we needed to make a what’s app call ended up driving 20 miles to Port Angeles for a connection.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our Pacific Northwest driving tour. We stayed in a double in the Marymere Lodge about 200 feet from the main lodge. If this were a franchise hotel, it would be considered a dump: the room was quite dated, torn lamp shades, no ice available (that we could find), very dated bathroom with a rusty radiator, dirty rug, etc. As is typical in many national park lodges: no wi-if, no phone, no TV…..so as a national park lodge our room would be considered pretty average. In fairness, the lodge was an iconic early 1900 era lodge with a beautiful view of the lake and the surroundings. The restaurant was pretty good, but reasonably pricey. On the plus side, it was a good location for exploring that area of Olympic National Park…..but at $200+ /night I might consider staying in Sequim or Port Angeles (a half hour to an hour away) as an alternative.

Stayed in a Marymere room which was excellent - very close to the lake ( closer than the singer cabins), my only complaint is that when we went to the historic lobby to relax and have beer after a hike the bartenders were playing very loud current music and then talking over it. In fact, all the patrons were talking over it. Really ruined the mood of the historic lobby- I felt like I could have been in a club in Seattle instead.

We stayed for 1 night and that was enough. Rustic is great but rustic and plain dirty is not. Use some " krud cutter" for cleaning the tile. We had to wait for our room to be cleaned and what we found; poop left in bowl of toilet and very wet pink slim around grout in shower. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbors close their curtains, use the toilet and of course their very long into the night conversations. The restaurant was pretentious for the surroundings. Too bad this place is run so poorly. Won't return. Won't recommend to anyone I care about.
