This is a very nice place to stay if you're going to be driving along I-95 and want to stay in the general area. We were Fort Pierce for the day and decided to stay here. The room was super clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was the usual fare, maybe a bit better than average. The main positive thing were the staff. Check-in was a breeze, all employees were friendly and knowledgeable, the place had a good vibe. All kinds of fast food available in the area. We got take out from Blaze Pizza across the street, which worked out well.

We've stayed at dozens of Holiday Inn properties around the world, so the brand has always seemed like a safe choice for us. The Port St. Lucie property changed our impression, primarily because it is in dire need of updating. They're in the process right now, but they should have done this decades ago. Our room was very dark--adding insult to injury, one of the primary lamps was inoperative--and the furnishings were very old and heavily worn. Additionally, the hotel staff was very stingy with the toiletries they provided. When we checked in, our room had one tiny bar of soap and a single one-ounce tube of shampoo. Finally, the restaurant opens too late to be of use for guests who have early working-hour meetings or early travel. At the very least, the restaurant should open at 6:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM. That said, the people who worked the front desk when we checked in were kind, friendly, helpful, and professional. I will be much more wary of Holiday Inn's trustworthiness in my future travels.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was excellent, it was spotless and so well kept and clean which is very improtant to me, Mela at the front desk is teriffic and so pleasant and so helpful and always willing to take the time to answer any questions or give you information about the area. Mela is excellent and always such a pleasure to deal with. I always enjoy my stay here and its so convenient to golf, resturants and all other activities.

I went to Orlando and stayed for one night through St. Lucy Port. It was a brand new hotel. The health, service and facilities were very good. Although the breakfast was not many varieties, the ingredients were very good and the hotel was recommended.

This used to be a great hotel; however, I found it to have gone downhill during a recent visit: - They did away with their nightly evening reception with complimentary wine, beer and snacks - Their free breakfast is not edible. It used to be a great spread, but they are clearly cutting corners - They don't clean your room every day - if I am paying a nightly rate, the room should be cleaned each day. While they exchange towels every other day, I returned to my room to have found it not complete, so had to remind the staff at the front desk - People smoked cigarettes and cigars around the pool, making it difficult to enjoy a swim There are better hotels a couple exits down the road. I won't be returning to the Residence Inn.

This is probably the worst experience we have ever had in an HIE. We are Spire Elites and have stayed in every IHG property type. We weren't shown any appreciation, acknowledgement or offered any ammenities and we have stayed in IHG properties for close to 100 nights the last couple of years. We reserved a suite for the largest room they had. Suite was really beat up. The toilet ran constantly, the telephone didn't work, holes in the walls, dead insects in the ceiling light fixtures, carpet was stained with ripples from age. The entire room was way past its life cycle and just plain dirty. I just can't believe this was the most expensive room they had. This was probably the first time I have ever considered walking away from a reservation and getting a room elsewhere. Just no pride taken by the property.
