Yotel Porto

The hotel is located at a great location close to Trindade station, the premium room is not so big, there is only a tabouret, the bed is quite hard to sleep on and making noise when you move around. The water pressure in the shower was good.I had an issue with the sink and it was fixed lmmediately. The elevator was making weird noise and it was fixed after I reported it. There is a bar on the 9th floor which is lound late in the evening - the receptioniwt took care of it and they turned the volume down. The staff at the reception (especially Maria) and the restaurant were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was okay - the eggs should be fried properly and juices were really bad. The coffee quality should be better too. I would consider returning to this hotel despite the issues I had.

Enjoyed my stay at Yotel Porto. Location is around 5 minutes walk from Trindade metro station for connections to airport. Room was great, powerful rainforest shower. I found the staff to be very helpful and professional. My only criticism would be there are illuminated light switches and controls in the room which don’t switch off / darken therefore the room is not completely dark for sleeping which isn’t helpful for a light sleeper like myself.

Good location 10 mins walk into main tourist parts and hotel clean and fresh. Breakfast choice good but staff not available to let you in, so left waiting around. Generally not very attentive/ helpful in restaurant though was a match night on busy. Tried to get invoices night before and told couldn’t print till next day then again before breakfast but told to get them when I actually checked out with key. Not very helpful and then left queuing. Most irritating thing was no cups in room for tea/ coffee only paper ones which cleaner then threw away leaving no new ones, down to reception for replacements, happened each day until I washed out and hid them. Just a pain and I’ll thought through. Also not leaving 2 towels just 1. Generally good place but need to improve customer experience for a better rating
