The breakfast selection was extremely limited. The sausages and small bratwursts were practically inedible — they tasted as if they were made of paper. The vegetables were sliced so thinly, as if a cortador had prepared wafer-thin slices of ham. The coffee and the juice were also of very poor quality. Only the omelet was reasonably acceptable. The floor in the room was noticeably dusty, and the door looked as though it had absorbed moisture over the years. In addition, there was no hot water. Furthermore, our stay was significantly overshadowed by the fact that during the night, our vehicle was involved in an accident on the hotel premises due to a driving error by another guest. Although the night staff was aware of the incident, we were not informed. The person responsible was apparently allowed to leave the premises without the hotel offering us any assistance in resolving the matter. This is particularly concerning given that the parking area is closed, subject to an additional fee, and monitored by video surveillance. Despite having immediate knowledge of the incident, the hotel merely provided us with the phone number of the person responsible. No further support was offered. Under these circumstances, one unfortunately gets the impression that guests are not adequately protected on the hotel grounds. This is an experience one would not wish on anyone.
