In booking a room, communication with Sarah, the host, was challenging - long response time and often no response at all for extended periods of time. Having first made a booking for the summer of 2020, which was then carried over due to the pandemic, I was suppose to stay at the chalet during July 2023. This never materialised due to extensive delays in Sarah’s response to emails and Whatsapp messages. After another long delay in her communication, the undertook to refund my deposit previously paid as I had no other option but to search for and book alternative accomodation in Pralognan. After I shared my banking details with her, she stopped responding to the Whatsapp messages (by that time I have given up on using email as she simply did not reply) and I lost a substantial amount of money as a result of this. Based on my experience with Sarah, I will definitely NOT recommend Chalet Rum Doodle to anyone.

Très belle expérience dans cette maison d’hôtes où nous avons été très bien accueilli par Gwen Vincent et Sarah. Nous avions l’impression d’être comme à la maison avec notre famille grâce à Gwen et Vincent qui ont été + que géniaux. Effectivement l’insonorisation des chambres n’est pas parfaite mais tout le monde respecte donc ce n’est pas dérangeant. La maison est proche du centre ville à pied à peine 5min. À très bientôt Gwen et Vincent pour de nouvelles aventures ! ☺️

Très surpris par les commentaires élogieux sur cet hébergement ……nous sommes peut-être mal tombés …….sauterelle et autres bébêtes dans la chambre…..douche très très sale joints noirs et crasseux …..aucune insonorisation…….petit-déjeuner médiocre (personne ne nous a expliqué le fonctionnnement)….tout cela pour 130 euros la nuit!!!exhorbitant pour les prestations fournies.Dommage …..la dame tenant le gîte est très sympathique.

petit séjour à pralognan,chez chalet rum doodle,de sarah tout était parfait,accueil de sarah au top cuisine excellente chambres très agréables je recommande vivement pour un séjour à pralognan j'y retournerai sans aucune hésitation merci pout tout sarah
