In booking a room, communication with Sarah, the host, was challenging - long response time and often no response at all for extended periods of time. Having first made a booking for the summer of 2020, which was then carried over due to the pandemic, I was suppose to stay at the chalet during July 2023. This never materialised due to extensive delays in Sarah’s response to emails and Whatsapp messages. After another long delay in her communication, the undertook to refund my deposit previously paid as I had no other option but to search for and book alternative accomodation in Pralognan. After I shared my banking details with her, she stopped responding to the Whatsapp messages (by that time I have given up on using email as she simply did not reply) and I lost a substantial amount of money as a result of this. Based on my experience with Sarah, I will definitely NOT recommend Chalet Rum Doodle to anyone.
