Let's begin with the positives, I suppose. The entertainment team is truly exceptional. While I could name a few, it wouldn't be fair to exclude the others. Nevertheless, I want to commend Milo, Aaron, Vince, Deborah, Giorgia, and the swimming instructor, among others. They put in a tremendous effort to ensure both kids and parents have an enjoyable stay. Their fantastic work is done without being pushy or bothersome. A special shoutout to Gianmarco from the spa - he's an excellent masseur, and I highly recommend his sessions for an exceptional experience. Thank you! Now, moving on to the dining experience. It's beyond great. While there are instances when the food might be lukewarm or cold, the quality remains excellent. I've never had such well-prepared and satisfying meals in any other resort I've visited. The overall structure of the resort is commendable, though it lacks an indoor space for relaxation during excessively hot weather or bad conditions. The on-site doctor is worth mentioning - a kind and empathetic professional who provides great care. On to the less positive aspects. The reception team occasionally makes mistakes, and the information they provide can be lacking. You'll realize navigating the place can be challenging without a map. The location itself is relatively isolated, and having a car is highly recommended to escape during unfavorable days, which happen quite frequently. The nearest points of interest are more than half an hour's drive away. When it comes to extras, the full board package surprisingly doesn't include coffee, even the basic one. Additionally, purchasing water from local bars costs a staggering four euros per bottle. This steep price is disappointing, especially given the absence of alternatives. While you can collect water from the restaurant, they discourage it. While cups are offered for free, bottled water isn't. The alternative restaurants are a letdown. We tried one, but it's hardly worth it. The fixed menu replicates what's available at the buffet restaurant, except here you have the illusion of choice. Room service is a hit-and-miss affair. For a week, there were no changes of linen, despite the policy being every three days. Our first change happened on the eighth day. On some occasions, towels were not replaced or removed from the floor. The most disappointing aspect is the sea. It's not what one would expect from the Sardinian sea. Algae tend to persist after strong Mistral winds, and they linger for days. The sea's depth limits beach access, and during our two-week stay, we managed to visit the beach only about three times. This isn't the resort's fault, of course, but it's crucial to highlight that bad weather is a common occurrence. Be prepared for it. Overall, the resort is excellent, with the entertainment team accounting for 50% of its positive reputation, while the other half is due to the food quality. Would I return? No. I personally prefer the sea over pool time. If the sea isn'

Spacious and clean rooms, plenty of good food in the central restaurant. The pool and the Serenino entertainment was great fun, and we had nice evenings with their shows. Didn't spent too much time at the seaside, but I did perform a wrestling show in the beach as Ivan Drago with Ciccio Pistacchio!

We travelled 2 adults with a 5year old, stayed 6 nights. The stay was overall positive however some issues left a bitter aftertaste. The resort itself is nice, fresh and clean, but the staff attitude drags the level down. Although staff greets you everywhere and are nice, when it comes to solve an issue, there is zero flexibility and no hint if service-minded attitude. One- we went to book a table via reception at one of the table service restaurants, and were assured that the booking has gone through, however the evening after they did not have our reservation. There were empty tables at the restaurant but they did not bother to set it up, and reception just shrugged us off and said the receptionist does not remember our reservation. Next morning when we got to talk to the supervisor, turns out the issue was that something had been wrong with the wifi. No apology, no offer to make it up to us. Not a big issue, we went to the main restaurant to eat but we had been looking forward that particular menu in the table service restaurant and the shrug-off attitude was very disappointing. Two- at the day if departure we had booked a transfer to airport, and they calculate which time it departs depending on your flight time. You have to free your room 10:00, and our transfer was 15:30. We saw in the schedule another collective transfer with available slots scheduled 14:30 and asked if it is possible to take that one, and that was not possible. When I asked what difference does it make which do we take- it is just not possible. I can take no for an answer if you can back up that no with, ‘sorry it is 2 different transfer companies and we cannot switch’ or ‘sorry, the earlier transfer vehicle is actually smaller’ etc. but a curt no it is not possible is below the service rating that they advertise. Some feedback: -Be prepared to be a passive smoker during your whole stay. The guests light up a cigarette as soon as they are out the door. Playground, cafe, beach, pool are all smoke-free zone and having lived in Sweden with smoke-bans in restaurant terraces and public transport stops, this took me by surprise. Not really resorts fault, it is the nations guilty pleasure, but just be aware. -Paper cups instead of glasses for juice or water in the breakfast- just why? -Breakfast was unchanged the whole of stay, too much of focus on cakes and sweets, no porridge. -You cant buy a larger bottle of water than 1l at the resort and it is not allowed to fill up any bottles from their filtered water taps. -all the animation is 100% in Italian. Signs about program- in italian. We would have loved to have access to the kids club pool and playground but those were only for the club, parent-free which was not possible for us as our child does not speak italian or english. -The Family room was nice, fresh, cleaning was good and they even changed the bedsheets mid stay despite stated weekly change. -They just disable your keycard the day before your departure to make you

In the time I have spent here I cannot believe how lucky we have been to have had Francesca and Jamie as our animators, I have never met such a hard working and caring duo, there is not one minute of the day where they aren’t thinking of the well-being of us as. They always make sure that all the children are involved whilst also making a close connection with everyone, I have been to bluserena since I was 12 and I have never been with a better group, even though I’m now 18 I am so grateful to have had Francesca and Jamie as my last experience here, they just are just two truly amazing people who have a piece of my heart. I have never had so much fun and the memories I’ve made here are and will be very special to be forever and my heart will honestly break when I’ll leave. Not to mention the special effort they put in with my brother from the first day, seeing as Italian isn’t out first language I was worried that he wouldn’t be able to have fun and fit in but Jamie and Francesca made sure that even with a language barrier he was also a part of the group and I will be forever grateful for them and the connection they made with me and my brother is truly special to me <3 I truly hope to see them again, either in the resort or out of it because they are special in my heart.

If you are looking for a family resort experience, this is a great option. Family friendly with lots of activities: water park, night shows, sports, kids club, etc. Buffet food has a wide variety. Beach was nice, about five minute walk from the hotel.

Half Baked, Half Cooked, Half Fixed, Half ****d. Simply the worst hotel from the deepest pits of hell and couldn’t wait to leave. Would have left on the second day except the General Manager declined 3 times to see us. Booking was a disaster as was payment, authorised 3 times then I received a snarky email saying hotel would cancel reservations if payment was not made in full in 24 hours. Made payment a fifth time and called hotel 4 times to confirm. The reason I called 4 times was because each time I was put on hold then cut off. Checkin despite giving the breakdown of the rooms in each attempted payment and also in multiple direct emails the room set up was still wrong. It then took 3 hours to check in. Resturant As it took so long it was was 9:03 pm and the restaurant refused to serve a drink because system closed at 9:00. Fair enough, next night waited 20 minutes after opening time to get a soft drink, not a hint of apology order was wrong 3 times then. Incompetent doesn’t even describe it and it wasn’t a language issue because 2 managers converted my order into Italian and laughed as the staff continued to get it wrong. All the while I’m waiting around for a coke. Food ordered Pasta didn’t order fly cooked into the pasta, shared this with the restaurant manager and got a simple OK. OK what you’ve cooked flies into pasta it’s not nearly ok. It was all inclusive but the food was bland half cooked or raw, half baked or raw and lacked all flavour unless you’ve a fondness for flies. We ate out majority of the time and had delightful food around the island, check out Don Carlos review proper fly free food. Room first night AC didn’t work. Second night AC worked in one but not the second room. Asked and was told 3 times it was fixed. Finally at 9pm a tech was sent to fix it, we returned to the room which was the childrens room to find the TV on (we didn’t use the TV at all) but most importantly PORN was on the TV in a room for a 9 and 11 year old. Told the assistant GM ok. Absolutely disgusted. Other days we came back to the AC purposely turned off. Bed clothes not changed for clean ones in 10 nights (except babies which I personally had to go back and oversee) Overall we lost 2 days of wasted time between checking in waiting for things to be fixed or to speak to managers who did nothing. I’ve never wanted to leave a hotel sooooo much and if bookings weren’t interconnected I’d have left on day 1. The facilities beach, pool kids club are good but other than Barbara at reception the staff are a shambles and it’s not thier fault it’s clearly management problems and as a result this hotel scores 10 out of 10 for being the hotel from the deepest darkest pits of hell. You’d have to be insane to consider staying here. Especially if you value your kids safety. I never even want to hear from this hell hole again. Never heard from the GM while I was there so no need to waste time on them now . This a is just a warning to oth
