I bought a hotel and ended up with a hostel: although I didn't mind that, they shouldn't sell it as a Hotel. In general it is a large 3-story house. Among the positives: - The attention of those who work there is excellent - It is very well located, you can literally walk everywhere and everything is close. - It has a kitchen: therefore, for those who want to save: 👌🏼 - The common spaces are very beautiful - They give 2 complimentary beers upon arrival The negative: - I bought the “hotel” with breakfast and I was disappointed. Very limited, you had to choose a type of bread and they added a tea, a mini cup of fruit and a glass of juice. Minimum a buffet breakfast. - There was a bad smell coming out of the bathroom, so it had to be kept closed all the time.

Mainly the noise, music all night that does not allow rest, zero noise insulation, footsteps can be heard at all hours of the night - early morning even in the adjoining rooms. Very small room, as well as the bathroom (you have to close the door to be able to use the sink because it hits a door), the bathroom has a tub but it cannot be used as such since they do not provide a plug for a tub, reception indicates that it can only be used as "shower". There is no hair dryer, you have to request it at reception. There is no TV, little lighting. At the time of booking they charge you for breakfast separately for each person.

Friendly staff, early check-in and the room was clean and tidy. I found the locker a little small to put suitcases in, but you can store valuables without any problems. Comfortable beds and bedding with air conditioning in the room. Small bathroom but with a hot shower. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking and pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely return to stay at Selina.

The spectacular thing about the place is being steps from the plaza and beach, being able to walk and have everything without paying for parking. But the room is not nice, it does not have a TV and little lighting, the cleaning is done late and there is no daily change of towels, I came across a pool day with very loud party music (I wanted to relax) recommended only for sleeping.

It is not a place for families, although that is not the responsibility of the hotel because one should investigate further. Maybe it is a place for young adults who don't mind that the place has little maintenance in the common spaces, has little insulation in the rooms because you can hear every little noise around you, worse if there is a party at the pool. In the mornings the common spaces feel untidy, the pool terrace with bottles, full ashtrays, etc., is like a university students' apartment, is the best definition. The worst thing, I don't know if it was the administrator or not, but a person from the hotel during breakfast time held an online meeting while the guests were having breakfast, that is, without any caution he interrupted the space of all of us who were there, loudly, which clearly shows that the guests were not relevant to their purpose. The same person who did not provide any solution to a guest who complained because his room did not have water to use the shower, simply pointed out that this happens in Pucon at this time. That is why it has few comments, most of which are bad, they honor reality.
