Firstly, the water slides and facilities in general are pretty good. Especially for families & young kids. On arrival we weren't given much information about the camping and what's on. The reception just gave us some paper with the time table for kids club. but we figured things out as we went along. All part of the experience I suppose. We were not given any receipt of payment nor for the deposits on the adapters, the fridge or the gate card. We paid in cash. 2 swimming pools! Really good! Not deep but do the job of cooling you down. Down side of the swimming pools is that there are no sunbeds nor can you sit by the pool. Your towels etc you leave on the grass outside the fencing around the pool. Shame really because it would be nice to sit by the pool and watch my kids swimming. Not the end of the world! Kids entertainment we are still trying to figure out. Seems abit of a hit & miss right now. The plot size we booked was a stanard size. All plots have green mesh over them for shade. On closer inspection... the ground was dirty. cigarette butts, nails, sweet wrappers, hair bobbles and bits of metal from the toldos above. It's a shame the maintenance couldn't just check the floor for these things before someone checks in. Could of easily been cleaned. Animals: I'm an animal lover and have had my own pet dogs but I don't think everyone respects the rules of bringing your pet dog. Listening to a dog bark 2 parcelas away can be a nuissance at times. On one occasion, a lady brought her dog into the toilet with her. why someone needs to take the dog into the toilet I don't know. Totally un hygenic. There are signs on the toilet doors stating no dogs in the toilets. Also, we used the launderette facilities here and our clothes came out STINKING of dogs. The rules state no dogs bedding can be put in the washing machines. There are designated washing machines for washing dogs beds. Obviously people don't respect this rule either. So now we have clean clothes and towels that smell like dogs. On another note, there is a small basic spa which the use is included in your stay. On weekends you have to book a time slot. We had booked a time slot on the Sunday at 14;00h. We waited at the door to the spa for 10 minutes and nobody came. so we went back to reception to tell them we had 2pm booked and it turns out that it was closed from 2-3pm. Why did they book this time for us if it was closed. Alittle frustrating. We we told to go back at 3pm and see if there was any availability. The life guard on the door at the spa looked like he didn't want to be there. And sat playing on his phone outside the door to the spa the whole time we were in there. The time slot is 30 mins. He was already asking us to leave at 25 mins past. While there was a group of 8 kids waiting to get in. Without an adult present. Children must have a parent or adult responsible To enter the spa. Supposedly. Kids entertainment is ok. Although what was supppsed to be

Probably our fifth visit here and one of our favourite sites in Spain. Great facilities and very clean and well maintained site. The staff are very professional and pleasantly helpful. Not the area for history for sure but to relax , walk or cycle is ideal. Pilar is a good working town and plenary of bars and restaurants within 3km. The site restaurant is even better with excellent food at reasonable prices. Yes there is sim road noise from the rear of the site but we must be used to it now as it did not intrude. Serviced plots are generally spacious. 2 to thre km from the coast with lovely path and cycle ways. Will definitely return

Overall had a good stay. Feel bungalows need a refurbishment as shower room in poor condition. Floors threw out in poor condition. Service friendly and helpful. Shame that both pools are closed. Web site needs up dating as advised no availability, Had friends staying on site who booked bungalow direct.

Just returned from this campsite. There are good points about it but also things to be aware of if you are considering a stay there. The campsite is extremely tidy and well kept. There is attractive landscaping in front of the pool area. The public areas such as the toilet blocks and indoor pool are immaculate. Communal washing machines and tumble driers are offered for personal laundry. The restaurant offers a wide choice of meals and snacks. However, we stayed in a bungalow. We were told when booking early January that we wouldn’t be able to specify a particular bungalow. However, it is clear if you are local and staying for 1/2 nights, you are given priority and the newer bungalows. We were allocated for our 18 night stay an old bungalow. It smelt musty and stale and was extremely dark. I asked to change to one of the newer bungalows, only to be told precedence was given to families with short stays! We were eventually given another older style bungalow. None of the new bungalows were available. The bungalows are provided with clean linen and towels each week. They come with a small kitchen offering a two burner electric hob and microwave. They are equipped with various pans and utensils, crockery and cutlery. The bungalows are two bedrooms with a very comfortable double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. The living area offers a sofa, dining table and chairs and a TV offering a mixture of Spanish, German, French and a small selection of British channels. These bungalows would be extremely comfortable during hotter periods in Spain. However, we suffered an extremely cold, rainy period and we were very cold. The only heating offered was via an AC unit which would be very very expensive to use, as unlike other comparable bungalow properties we stayed in Spain, all electricity must be paid for. We also had no control over the water heating/immersion heater in the bungalow. It constantly heated the water to a scalding temperature, resulting in over €50 electricity bill for 18 nights. This charge compares to fellow travellers with their own apartment who paid the equivalent amount for over 5 weeks electricity use!!! It is also worth noting that it is impossible to view the electricity meter as the covers are so worn making them unreadable. You have to get reception to open the meter cover to take a reading. You, therefore have no idea how much electricity you are using or whether the reading given to you at the start of your stay is accurate. We had two further issues of concern. There was no visible smoke alarm in the bungalow. This was extremely concerning when a huge motor home was allowed to park overnight by the management, directly outside the bungalow living area just 1m away. It seemed to me that fire regulations were not complied with, allowing not only gas canisters directly outside but the vehicle itself. The reason given was that they needed to get the very large motor home off their pitch ready to leave the follo

Hele grote plaatsen, zeer netjes onderhouden, veel seizoensplaatsen.

Alles is nieuwbouw. In de buurt van het strand is het iets gezelliger. Er liggen mooie fietspaden langs de kust.
