Came to the Sheraton for some winter sun and a weeks relaxation after Christmas. The hotel is a €20 taxi ride from the airport and takes around 20 minutes. Once at the hotel you are met by friendly reception staff, who are efficient and cannot do enough for you. Acknowledgment was made of our Bonvoy Status, which was greatly appreciated. Once checked in we were offered a cool drink of juice or bubbles as a welcome to the hotel. We were appointed a Seaview deluxe room on the fourth floor, before going here I did not appreciate how big the hotel was, but it is a large property. The room was large, being fully tiled with a typical décor of the region and it was spotless. The bathroom has separated sink area, toilet/bidet and bath shower area, which was again fully tiled. The whole room was clean with well-appointed and maintained décor and furnishings. We had a king bed and the linen and mattress were extremely comfortable leading to many nights enjoyable rest. The room had a large balcony with great views over the bay and was furnished with good quality chairs and table, to relax in for your morning coffee and afternoon peppermint tea!! Once we had settled into to our new abode for the next seven nights, a knock came at the door and we were presented with an ice-cold bottle of bubbles and a plate of macaroons as a complementary welcome gift. Which was a generous gesture. Breakfast was a buffet offering and there was so much choice, I feel for the number of people staying at the hotel the staff manage it really well. When there are issues, which will always occur with a hotel this size, the management and staff appear to address it and you do not see the issue again. All the restaurant staff could not do enough for you. The food is of excellent quality and there are some lovely breads, meats, cereals etc. Also, they do a vast hot plate section if you so wish it. As the food choice in the resort area was not to our choice and those that possibly were had closed for a holiday break, we ate most nights in the hotel buffet. Again, the selection was good ranging from themed evenings, with fresh crab, prawns, oysters, fish, meat and also selected hot pre prepared food. It was nice to have your meat or fish freshly cooked and accompanied by some fresh salad or cooked vegetables. For mass catering the food quality was exceptional. The local wines were nice too and reasonably priced for the range of hotel. The hotel is ideally located on a flat promenade within gated grounds that are immaculately maintained. There is a sandy beach across the path from the hotel, which was great for small children if the pools and activities within the hotel become too boring for them. During our visit there were no problems finding a spare lounger as there are a lot around the pools, however, you still get the “towel brigade” who feel they have to select their own by throwing down a towel and then not using it for hours! We have just got back this morning and had the most amazing holiday. The hotel is fabulous. The staff can't do enough for you. There were loads of sunbeds choice around the pool no matter what time you went during the day - no need to reserve a bed. The pool area was clean and the gardens lovely. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was perfect. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, had a jacuzzi bath and a large balcony with choice of chairs and sunbeds. The restaurant served brilliant choice of food. I am not a seafood eater but there was an impressive choice of that aswell as meats, and the deserts. The breakfast was delicious could not get over the choice of pastries, pancakes, fry up, fruits, yogurt and cereals etc. Family entertainment was brilliant, we saw acts like magic shows. There was also a singer on in the evenings in the Piano Bar. The daytime entertainment was great aqua aerobics, pool volleyball, yoga, aswell as other games. Also has a games room with pool tables etc. Location is excellent we got off plane and after picking up our luggage we were in the hotel within 15 mins. It's on the beach and about 30 min walk along the coastal path to the harbour and town. We had 2 days of cloudy weather but didn't spoil our holiday one bit. Mostly good, some frustrations though By far the best thing about the hotel was the staff for us, particularly the reception staff and particularly particularly Carlos who literally can't do enough to help you. Top man 👍 The hotel is very attractive, very big and nicely located, the best part of the beach is right in front of the hotel and a great little restaurant on the island opposite (Chiringuito?). We were B&B and breakfast was amazing. Everything you could possibly need and more. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, veg, meat, eggs, cakes....the list goes on. All really good quality too The rooms are nice and beds comfortable although for a family of 3 it's a bit of a squeeze in one bed and the camp bed was pretty much unusable. The bathroom was fab and huge, really nice walk in shower and bath. The heated pools are great, including a large jacuzzi type section. It wasn't warm enough for the non heated pool while we were there but there was plenty of room anyway and loads of beds etc. The hotels towels were nice too and a nice touch. Everything was clean and tidy. WiFi was hit and miss for us and the main reason for a 4 star rather than 5, it was very frustrating at times depending on your location in the hotel. The staff make this hotel what it is though.

The Good.....Great family hotel. Rooms are huge (we had junior suite with sea view) with walk in closet and large bathroom. Powerful shower and whirlpool bath. The toiletries were ample and luxurious as were the bathrobes and slippers. Free, fast wi-fi. Lovely large balcony. Bed very comfortable and super king. Free tea/coffee in the room and well stocked mini bar. Lovely housekeeping staff (one day I was on the balcony engrossed in a book and when I went back indoors, the staff had been in without disturbing me!) Buffet ( we were HB) was plentiful and varied. I can't fault the food! The area is walkable if you are active. The bad....... The doves at mealtimes make eating al fresco really uncomfortable. You cannot step away from the table or the plates are inundated with hungry birds. They poop on the chairs and on your clothing while you are eating, so unless you take a whirlygig type deterrent, you may want to eat indoors. Not sure why they dont have a visiting falcon handler as they do in many other resorts. The decor is dated (but very clean) and the carpets in the corridors are in dire need of an upgrade. The evening entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. TV's didn't work but we didn't need them anyway.

The Sheraton Hotel in Caleta De Fuste was absolutely first rate. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing and really enhanced our holiday, with a special mention for Alex at the poolside restaurant and also at the bar. Everything about the hotel was brilliant. It is beautifully kept and cleaned. The breakfasts were superb. We really enjoyed the entertainment. I am so pleased that we chose the Sheraton at Fuertaventura. Thank you for a lovely holiday and for making us feel so welcome in your hotel.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday here in December 2023. The room was spacious and well-equipped, the balcony was reasonably sized and enjoyed quite a bit of sunshine for the greatest part of the day. We loved the room service menu and ordered in most evenings. Huge choice of TV channels – not the reason we went there but we appreciated it. The staff were quite friendly and helpful throughout, except for one of the grooms who seemed to be constantly in a very bad mood and was abrupt to us with no reason on several occasions. The hotel has beautiful grounds and the beach in front of the hotel is a nice, sandy one. Will definitely go back for more.
