Amapas Apartments Puerto Vallarta - Adults Only

The hotel is super close to the beach. I had one of those rooms where you can see the beach partially. The bed was good and big. The closet also big. I had balcony. There was no AC at the room but if you leave the AC from the living room ON and the fan ON the fresh air comes to your room too indeed. There is a big security box. The kitchen has cups, plates, silverware, wine opener, big fridge, coffee maker, pans, etc. They give you soap for dishes ONLY if you ask for it. Only one toilet paper in the bathroom.The room can be cleaned ONLY in the 3rd day after you arrived. There is a little room where you can put trash close to the stairs. I really got super annoyed internet could ONLY work in the room. So if you need internet in the balcony, living room or kitchen FORGET IT. As a solo traveler internet was very important to me because I needed to stay connected with people. All my phone data finished in the 2nd day at the beach. This hotel really need to work to fix this internet issue. It is not fun to be there alone with no internet during a super HOT day.

This property is in an excellent location. The rooftop pool is perfect during the summer for watching the sunset. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is safe and clean. Balconies are a nice bonus. One minor inconvenience: washcloths are not provided, so be sure to bring your own. Puerto Vallarta has been experiencing some safety concerns recently. There is a noticeable presence of gang-related activity, including ************ (often in massage parlors) and drug dealing in certain areas. Many locals are frustrated by this. I recommend always traveling in pairs, staying aware of your surroundings, and avoiding any businesses that seem connected to these activities.

First off the location of the property is hard to beat. You literally cross the road and go down a few steps and you're at Los Muertos beach and the pier. You're surrounded by excellent restaurants that are right around the corner. Secondly, the room was impeccable and spacious. We were there for two weeks with three scheduled cleanings. The amount of sand we managed to drag in everyday, it was a wonder how they managed to get rid of it all. Thirdly, the roof top patio provided one of the best vantage points to watch the amazing sunsets. Pool, albeit small, was enough to soak into to beat the heat. As for some of the dislikes, our room was right above the Oxxo. A 24hr convenience store that was busy all night (comes with the great location) amd unfortunately, the doors to our balcony didn't shut properly so there was a gap that just let the noise drift in all night. Add to that, the bed needed an upgrade. It wasn't the most comfortable. I would suggest the hotel invest in new mattresses. One last thing... and I'm being picky. The covers on the rooftop chairs could use a little love. Overall big question... would we stay there again? Yes, but we would request a different room though.

I love this property. I’ve been staying here many times and never disappoint me. The best place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommended

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were also lots of shops and places nearby which made everything convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Very large suite, that made me very comfortable. Great hot water shower, fridge, microwave, all the necessities. I arrived early, only problem was getting inside as there is no front desk and I was not getting a response. A courier guy was going in, that is how I was to enter, after that everything was perfect. Building is solid, location is fun . Thanks for hosting me, I had a great holiday.

Amapas Apartment stayed was a good experience this was my second time at this hotel. 1/2 block from the beach walking distance to restaurant, bars and clubs. Rooms was very clean at Check in and having a kitchen was a plus. Quite and safe area. I will recommend to update bed and the sofa in the living room.

Yes except no stuff to wash dishes or wipe counters. The room with cleaning supplies only had trash bags and cleaning products not a way to wash dishes or wipe counters. But overall excellent check in service and clean friendly atmosphere
