Great location with great activities. Have electric bikes to cars you can rent for 30 rmb for 30 minutes and every 10 minutes or so is 10 rmb charged.

We had an amazing stay at Evergrande! The property is huge and picturesque! We enjoyed the breakfast option and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the amenities, and the location by the beach is perfect! The views are absolutely breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, some of the facilities are deteriorating and old. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

The room was very nice and the view from the room was amazing. However, the hotel really doesn't cater to Western couples - it seems like everyone else staying in the hotel was a Chinese couple with young children. There was little information in the hotel about what the hotel had to offer, and there were a lot of things that were unavailable - the pool was closed, the two Western restaurants were closed, the bar was closed (and looked like it had never been open), and a lot of the eating places around the hotel were closed too. The hotel was very busy and noisy with all the families, and maintenance of the garden and outside areas of the hotel was not a priority at all - things were falling apart and they looked a mess. Having said all of this, it was nice to be able to walk on the beach and see the ocean. However, couples looking for a nice getaway where they can relax should look at going somewhere else.

Stayed for 2 nights. It was better than I expected. My son liked the beach and outdoor pool. Had to pay for my son’s breakfast as he was “too tall”.

Great hotel, really huge. Very clean, smells nice everywhere. The bedroom is big, the beds super smooth. The bathtub in the bathroom even has a TV. The staff is very helpful, the personal concierge was great. The swimming pool is very nice too. The beach is awesome. The sea is calm, the water not so cold and the water depth is ideal for kids. Plenty of stuff to do in the hotel as well. Breakfast has so many options you dont even need to have lunch later. If you are looking for a nice beach area around shanghai and jiangsu, this is the place.
