The check in was very lengthy, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you need inside. The quality of the shampoo..... are very nice. Unfortunately my mum got sick during our stay and we had to book an extra room and added a few nights and they were very accommodating. The location of the hotel is great and a short walk away from the restaurants, shops and beach.

I booked a family suite, one double and two single beds. Two bathrooms, only one for shower. Very convenient. Facilities: very advanced, very convenient Hygiene: very good, I like to wipe it again before check-in, no dust found Environment: very convenient, seafood buffet, Lawson convenience store, KFC, McDonald's, Ruixing, Kudi, etc. are all available, 1 minute walk. Tiger Rock Beach is 5 minutes walk, great for watching the sunset. Service: very kind. In place. Friendly.

The first time I stayed at Atour, Beidaihe Atour was in a good location, close to Liuzhuang Night Market, very convenient to eat and drink, and it took five minutes to the beach. The room is not as big as expected, quite satisfactory, the decoration and supporting facilities are a bit old, the TV is too small, but it has no effect, and it is basically not watching TV. Service, very good! Special praise to the front desk Qing also little girl, she learned that our return high-speed rail is 9 o'clock in the evening, the time is relatively late, specially prepared bread and yogurt, let me take the road to eat, people feel warm. I will definitely choose Atour again next time.

For just 70 Yuan, we got a really nice room with 5 minutes walking distance to both the beach and an amazing seafood restaurant, 叶存利海鲜大馅饺子. At the end of April, it's still pretty cold and the room has no heater, so better ask for a second blanket. Then it's fine. On the second day, energy didn't work during the day but by sundown it was resolved. Overall an excellent deal for a place to stay at Beidaihe for a few days, which is really lovely and a perfect retreat from Beijing.

I grabbed the tail end of summer and took a dip in the sea. This time I didn’t choose the Baowu Road side. I’ve never been to Laohu Stone Bathing Beach😄… Only when I took photos of the sunrise yesterday morning did I realize that I had been going to the “Wolf’s Den” in Zhongtan Beach. , this is like just stepping out of the wolf's den and into the tiger's den😆😆😂🤣, the hotel is very good and very close to Laohu Rock, and you can reach the beach in a few minutes. The waiters are very enthusiastic and kind, and they give you food when you check in, and gifts when you leave. It feels like It is particularly ceremonial. The hotel has its own restaurant. The breakfast buffet is 20 yuan per person. There are quite a lot of varieties. I didn’t take pictures of them all. They have milk, coffee, soy milk and porridge, which is really much better than eating out. I personally think it is recommended here. The hotel has its own parking space, which is free. The barrier cones prevent outside vehicles from entering. This is a good thing, but the parking spaces must be limited! I saw a sand washing pool at the door, a very user-friendly design 👍

It is old Soviet style housing (blocks) with Chinese redwood furniture. I don't think they have any non-smoking rooms, but the smoking residual smell wasn't too bothersome. The check-in for a foreigner during a pandemic was something to behold - you need passport with latest entry stamp into China, proof of your quarantine and cleared PCR-RT test on day #12 or #20 of your quarantine, proof of travel to Beidahe (personal vehicle, train tickets, plane tickets, etc.), evidence of vaccine (if vaccinated), green HDC code (travel health code --arrow), RMB100 deposit (they do give a paper claim ticket for refund of the RMB100), and they will retain your passport for them to validate your status in China and make copies. You'll leave a Chinese cell phone number and your permanent residency in China (mine was Shanghai & I had my Shanghai residency certificate with address indicated). Once you clear those hurdles, the room was ready on-time and they give you guest pass to use the private beach (maybe 500-ft of private beachfront) across the street (you have to leave the compound) and check into the private beach area. There's supposedly a canteen and restaurant on the premises, but they appeared to be closed possibly due to the pandemic. Fear not, there's plenty of food, drinks, desserts, beach toys around the compound as it is the heart of Beihahe CBD. But not many other amenities I could locate on the compound premises. The guests appear mostly to be foreigners, yet the staff could barely speak English. That is a curious feature - I would think as a diplomat retreat, the staff would cater to foreigners and English is more widely spoken than Mandarin amongst that crowd (at this point in history). To summarize, you stay here for the experience - to play where diplomats and their staff play, and where the Chinese leadership used to/ or still do come to rest and relax. You do not stay here for the amenities other than the 500-ft or so of private beach. By the way, everything on the private beach from the toys to the drinks to the umbrellas, etc. all require payment. Get sunscreen across the street from the private beach and it is super expensive, so check it into luggage if possible. I got 2 full bottles of sunscreen I bought on Tabao tossed from my carry-on. Again, stay for the experience and the proximity to the center of Beidahe, but do not expect glorious amenities.

The food is slightly lacking, breakfast is 38, lunch is 68, dinner is 48, ordinary simple dishes, lunch is okay, dinner really has nothing to eat and no fruit, but in a big paradise, it is not convenient to go out, you can only stay in the hotel have eaten. I am basically satisfied with my stay. There are some shortcomings. 1. I had to wait for a long time due to computer issues when checking in; 2. No bath slippers 3. The room is a bit damp I had a lot of fun, because in Jifa Dream Kingdom, I saved the entrance fee, and it was also convenient to go to the swimming pool and come back to take a shower. My son can't play many activities when he is three years old, but he will still play when he is older.

I chose to stay here when I went to Laohu Shi Beach. The weather on the beach in January was already freezing. The hotel is in a very good location and is very close to the beach. The rooms are okay and worthy of the price of over 100. The wash basin is in the bedroom. The room was slightly damp. Floor heating and air conditioning are easy to use.
