Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queensbury - Lake George Area

I like the attention given by all the staff members, from the front desk personnel to the manager. They all are pleasant and helpful. Prior to my stay I received text and emails from the manager to let me know the status and ask if I had any additional needs or questions. They offer a free self-serve breakfast area that has a full line of items; omelettes, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, juices and warm pastries. The food staff keeps the area extremely clean and fully stocked and there is table seating. They offer free coffee 24 hours and it is always ready. There is no onsite restaurant but there are other dining choices in the area. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful and kept up with room needs. During this stay, a snow event happened that caused a need to stay one more night. The entire group helped arrange for the extra stay and made it easy to make the adjustments needed. I have stayed at this hotel several times and each time I have had an excellent experience. I don't even think of another hotel when I come to this area. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very pleasant stay here on New Year’s Eve! All of the staff was very friendly, the facilities were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for four nights while visiting family in the area during the holidays. Everything was wonderful, we slept great each night and did not hear anything outside the room which is huge when you have children. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was as expected and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were in good shape and the hours were perfect for a family because whether we got back late or got up early, the pool was open. The location was private and we felt safe going in and out at any hour. My only complaint is that they were booked, which was fine, but they didn’t have a ton of towels and the first night we tried to get two because we only had two for a family of four and were told we could only get two if we returned our dirty ones which is not realistic for four people showering. The next day I was told the same but explained that if we could atleast get each a towel we would use them for the remainder of the stay but we needed each our own for sanitary reasons, which they understood and agreed to. But they need to invest in more towels if that’s the case. There’s a McDonalds you can safely walk to and a convenience store next door. We will stay there again when we visit family in the area.

We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and welcoming. We will no doubt stay here again.

The hotel is fairly new & appealing. The staff at the hotel did a great job making us feel comfortable and at home. The room was spacious, which was a plus, but it did have a few things I needed to point out. The toilet when flushed, the water would just run. I discovered that the flap inside the toilet bowl wouldn’t go down. I reported it to the front desk & they said they would send someone to fix it. Later that night the toilet issue remained, so we resorted to jiggling the handle to get the flap to go down (our work around). The couch folded out into a bed, which was nice, but the mattress was thin, uncomfortable & made a lot of noise. We loved that the room had a refrigerator. The breakfast was decent.

Had issues checking in, process took over a half hour and was given a room that was already taken. Then, the next week, received a large charge with no explanation which the help desk could not identify. Really weird experience.

You should have different floor for hockey (or other) teams. Young players were running around, playing mini stick, screaming, throwing things around in the hall. I ask if we could change floor but unfortunately it was impossible

There were bugs in our room. Bed sheets had a sticky residue which was disgusting
