Pretty much brand new hotel which represents outstanding budget value in location convenient for Trinoma and SM North malls. Staff are courteous and helpful, also good security from attentive and polite guards. Rooms and showers very compact, neat and clean. Beats the competition from Red Planet and Go Hotels. Also free onsite parking and good WiFi (although went down on one night we stayed there).

The hotel is very well located for using public transportation, as it is very close to the “North Avenue” stop of MRT3 (which is currently the final stop on the MRT3 line, leading from there southwards along the EDSA highway). Another public transport line, LRT1, can also be reached on foot, only that the nearest station “Roosevelt” was closed in late November / early December 2021, so it will take a while to walk further to the now final stop on that line, “Balintawak”. There is currently construction ongoing for a new line close to the hotel, which I believe will be named MRT7, giving even more connections with public transport (east-wards, out of Quezon City / Metro Manila). Due to the construction, I heard sometimes noise during the night coming from the outside. In about 30 minutes walking distance is the Ninoy Aquino Park, a peaceful place with animals and places for picknick, or simply to rest from the city noise. Also, the Quezon Memorial Circle, another park, can be visited for recreational purposes and is very close to the before-mentioned Ninoy Aquino Park. Due to Covid-19 measurements, breakfast – which was included in the price – was brought to the room. Hotel staff was friendly to me, and I want to thank everyone of the hotel team as well as the security personnel. At the reception desk I was treated well by Jonna, and by the other front desk staff, for which I am thankful.

We had a very good stay at Red Planet Cubao. We went there to watch a concert at NFT and this hotel was more or less a 5 minute walk away from the theater. The rooms weren't as big and spacious compared to other hotels but the basic amenities were all there and are functioning well and in good condition. If you're in a tight budget but wants a comfortable place to stay around this area, consider booking in this hotel. Drugstore, bank, concert venues (i.e. NFT & Araneta Coliseum), food chains, mall, etc. are all at a walking distance. The concierge staff was very accommodating! They also granted our request to be placed in quieter rooms. Thank you to all the staff. Will surely comeback here! ☺️💯

I stayed at Ibis Styles Araneta so I can get peace and quiet while I finished my book and that was what I got. Although not the typical desk and chair set-up, it really worked for the work I needed to do. The rooms may be on the small size but there was enough natural light that flooded the room and kept me energized during my entire stay. I had a really great time from start to finish.
Once I arrived at the driveway, I was already assisted by their staff. Check-in was fast and the front desk staff (Sam) even helped me get my luggage to my room. The room was very cozy, clean, and chill. One of the downsides would have to be the closet since it was just a rod on top of the coffee station and the clothes drop down on the coffee cups.
Another downside are the roll-down blinds. If you don't want to be seen outside, you'd have to roll down all the blinds and prevent any sunlight flooding the room. Not a big problem though.
Really enjoyed Le Bistro and the Edge Skyview Bar. Very cozy places to just relax. I also love the panoramic views by the rooftop bar. I would really have appreciated it if the buffet and Le Bistro had several vegan food choices. It's a good thing Gateway Mall is right beside the hotel so I was able to eat my meals.
I love that they have a water dispenser and provided a water pitcher in the room to make it easier for water refill. The lobby is also a great place to hangout and work in at times.
Over all, I'd stay here again.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff are nice and helpful. The room is really bad. The window in my room doesn't have access to sunlight, outside the window is a closed space where you can't see anything. Making the room dark and feels like you are inside a dungeon. Who builds rooms without windows that have access to sunlight?? The bedsheets are thin and doesn't look clean. I have found several small cockroaches in my room.

We booked a Standard Room via trip.com and it was mentioned in our booking that the bed type in the room we selected is assigned randomly. When we checked in, I was informed my front desk that all Standard Rooms actually have Queen size beds so no need to request for it because we’re really getting a big bed. The check in process was smooth with ₱1,000 cash deposit. Yes, cash. They still do not have other payment options for the deposit. No credit card payments yet for the deposit. The hotel has just been opened in March of this year. Hotel is fresh, lobby looks so pretty, smells good, everyone is warm. Our room is so beautiful with new bed, fresh linens and fluffy pillows. It has a personal ref and TCL Android TV. Good water pressure, 2 trash cans. Hot shower is perfectly working. Only 2 bath towels and 1 foot rug. Toiletries provided also in the room. Lots of lighting in the room. Aircon is just a window type and placed near the floor. We love so much our room. Beautiful, fresh, new, for us it is spacious for the amount we paid. Basic but beautiful. We’ll definitely stay again when we will have another event to attend to within the hotel’s location. Parking in front of the hotel. There’s 711 and Figaro and coffeeteria on the ground floor of hotel. We love Monaco Hotel so much!

The Leez Inn Makati is a small hotel tucked away in a little side street and is a basic budget Hotel. The information provided about the hotel is limited and guests are taken by surprise when they arrive to find out the hotel does not accept any credit cards. This info is not indicated on any travel sites like Expedia Agoda hotels.com etc. The staff are lovely and friendly and are just working with what they have but it is clearly disorganised. I told staff I didn't have the cash and would have to go to a money changer in the morning. I arrived late at night which they accepted and the next day I went out and change my money to Philippine Peso and when I returned to pay my bill they said you don't have the exact money and we don't have any change. I was like ***!A hotel that doesn't accept credit cards and doesn't carry change. Extremely poor! Anyway they asked how much I had and told me to hang on to it and they would try and get some change and if I came back later that evening they should have change for me so eventually this was sorted. The rooms are small and old and very stark in the decor. There is a cabinet and also a wobbly old desk and a chair. There is a bar fridge which keeps things cold. They provide a safe, dental kits, tea and coffee making facilities but NO tea and coffee. There is one tiny bar of soap about the size of a 50 cent coin. There is a small TV on the wall with only two English speaking channels and the reception to the majority of the channels is terrible. The bathroom is very small and the shower only has a shower curtain which doesn't reach the ground so then water goes everywhere. The water takes a long time to heat up. Apart from that the water pressure is reasonable. They didn't give me the room I booked and provided me with two single instead of a queen-size bed and the air conditioning in the room leaked and made a huge puddle of water across the floor each night. The second morning I woke up and asked them could they send someone with a mop to mop up the pool of water, and they agreed, but no one ever arrived to do it. The hotel offers the basics and the beds are actually quite comfortable and the hotel is ok for a couple of nights stay but there are definitely better more modern better equipped properties in the area.
With a stay at Hotel101 - Fort, you'll be centrally located in Taguig, a 5-minute drive from Fort Bonifacio and 12 minutes from SM Mall of Asia. This hotel is 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from Venice Grand Canal Mall and 4.1 mi (6.7 km) from Newport World Resorts.

Stayed for one night here.
Location is quite okay as it was within walking distance to SM and Market market. There is alsp a 711 store just beside the hotel. However note this hotel is somewhere along the boundary of BGC. We didn't have any problems here.
The room is clean. What we liked was the bed was really a ”hotel” bed. The TV is also a bit TV and had a lot of international channels. AC was small but it did provide the right cool temp for sleeping. One thing we noticed is that there were some snacks left in our room's cabinet (chicharon and bucheron). When we checked out, they asked if it was ours. I think this should have already been cleaned before us checking in to the hotel.
Water pressure is strong and toilet is clean. But the hair dryer provided to us was not working.
Checkout process took us around 10mins as they really check the room. Should be ok if you are not in a rush.
Parking is abundant. Around 12 slots on the basement, plus 2 more slots which by default is closed (they might open these slots if needed). There are also some parking slots just outside the hotel.
Overall a bang for buck hotel and would recommend!

Outstanding
TTracyWWe had a pleasant 2-night stay at Novotel (room only, no breakfast). Service was excellent (they provided a cake for us to celebrate our anniversary, and we asked for late check out which they kindly accepted), The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi connection if you need to work. The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The gym is open 24/7 (attended 6am-11pm) and there is a steam room but we didn’t use it. The gelato on 1F was pretty good!
Couple of areas for improvement:
- the walls were thin so we could hear people next door talking, or the shower adjacent to ours
- our rainfall shower did not work and there is no shower door so the floor got a bit wet
- there are not many amenities available - only body wash, shampoo, hand wash, body lotion, toothbrushes
FFayneWe initially booked an overnight stay in a 1 bedroom deluxe room, but since we trully enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend another night! 😀 We were so deligjted and satisfied with the room and the service - from the quick early check-in process, to the cleanliness and spacious room provided, to the pool amenities up to the sumptous and hearty meal (breakfast) that was served! What’s even more satisfying was the completeness of the amenties in the room especially the kitchen stuff! The staffs were also nice and attentive. When we requested for additional or replenishments of amenities, they have attended to it real FAST! Requests were attended in like 5-10minutes only! Overall, we had a great and comfortable stay and we will surely be back to this hotel! 😊
GGuest UserThe place is nice but does not have enough parking. It’s close to some amenities like malls. The room itself is very nice and clean but no pets allowed. It served for what I need to do in Manila. Dry expensive for an average hotel. We left early instead of staying extra day because we ended up getting a puppy that was given to us unexpectedly and they would not allow us to bring it to our room for at least the night since we’re leaving the next day. They would not budge so we left and paid for an extra night for nothing for they will not refund it.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a nice upscale feel, especially in the lobby and restaurant areas, which fit its five-star branding. However, some corridors and rooms show signs of wear, suggesting they haven't been updated recently. While the design is still elegant, certain areas could benefit from renovation to match the luxury of the public spaces.
Service was above average, and the staff were generally efficient, but I noticed a lack of warmth at times. Front desk and security staff, though professional, could be more welcoming. Simple gestures like a smile or greeting would enhance the guest experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there’s room for improvement in both upkeep and guest interactions.
GGuest UserHere are the comments for our 1 night stay at Luxent. Front Office: Krys and Jason was very friendly but at the same time very professional. They even upgraded my room to the Prima Club Room that has access to the lounge as well. Aljon was also very efficient and helpful he even went to the parking area to assist my husband with our baggage. That same evening Aljon assisted me with the cake delivered to me and have it kept at the Kitchen. Prima Lounge: Dana greeted me with e smile through her eyes (all staff are wearing facemasks) when I went to the the Prima lounge to explore. She mentioned to me the perks of the lounge such as drinks and appetizers available that day. Later that evening my husband and I went back to the lounge to experience what Dana mentioned earlier, I was very excited because I was actually celebrating my birthday yesterday and what a better way to celebrate it with free food and drinks. haha There were alcoholic drinks like red and white wine, scotch, and beers too. if you dont drink you can have sodas or juices. As for the food they have appetizers like canapes, meatballs, fruits and nuts and as well a few choices of cheeses too. Edren was very attentive and very friendly, I forgot the name of the chef but that gave me a mini birthday cake and greeted me too. I would say it was a happy birthday indeed and I thankful I spent it at Luxent. Vertigo Pool/ Bar: Jason and Dixie attended to all our needs during our dinner time at the pool, very accurate in taking our orders and assisted with our every need. Breakfast: I was not able to get the names of the staff who assisted us but everyone is very attentive and helpful, food selection is very decent I loved everything except for the chicken sausage, it tasted weird, and the texture is weird too. Check out was smooth and quick. Dana once again offered us drinks before we go, which I appreciate. The hotel itself is very nice, the room interior is very cozy, it felt vey luxurious as well We loved the bed and the pillows are super soft. Pool is huge and water is nice, 17th floor is clean and very spacious. I loved the cabanas it felt as if i was out of town and not in the middle of Timog/ Morato Area. All in all the Luxent experience was indeed very memorable and enjoyable. You guys made my birthday extra special. Kudos to the employees who work hard and make sure to take the extra mile just to assist the guests and provide the best service.
GGuest UserStaff went beyond their way in providing us a quality service and great experience at the hotel. Thank you! Appreciate all your help! From breakfast buffet at CASA where we were being accomodated very closely by the staff and checking in on our baby from time to time to make sure he is enjoying his food to the front desk staff who did their best to provide us all our needs during our stay (especially the baby bath tub!). Thanks so much! We'll surely come back!
AAnonymous User1-Week Stay at Harts Hotel
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Harts Hotel for a week, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The hotel's location was excellent, situated in a bustling area with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating, always ensuring I felt welcome during my stay.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. However, there were a few issues that somewhat impacted my experience. Firstly, for the last two days of my stay, there was an issue with the bathroom flush, which caused inconvenience. It was a minor inconvenience that affected the overall comfort of my stay.
In addition to the flush issue, there were a couple of other drawbacks. The hotel did not provide tissues in the room, which was unexpected. It would have been convenient to have them readily available. Furthermore, I encountered a persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway, which was a disappointment as a non-smoker. While it didn't directly affect the room itself, it detracted from the overall experience and the hotel's otherwise pleasant ambiance.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Harts Hotel still has its merits. The housekeeping and cleanliness of the room were commendable, and the hotel staff remained attentive and helpful throughout my stay.
In conclusion, my one-week stay at Harts Hotel had its ups and downs. While the location, friendly staff, and overall cleanliness were highlights, the issues with the bathroom flush, lack of tissue provision, and odor of cigarette smoke in the hallway were disappointments. I would recommend Harts Hotel with the caveat that guests may encounter these inconveniences during their stay.
HHoly_InnocentI like this simple hotel with super friendly staff and good breakfast, but there are some serious issues that need fixing. First and foremost, there is a terrible sewer like smell in some parts of the building, originally just at the bottom of the stairs (a contained area) which days later crept into my room, especially in the bathroom but also noticeable as soon as you walk in the room. It is for this serious issues (stink!!!) that I will not book here again. It seems that the foul aroma is either from a gross stream behind the property AND/OR sewer smells from coming out of floor drains. Other issues included a telephone that could bot be used to make calls because of bad static, 30 php charge PER HOUR to use hotel's hair dryer, no shampoo or conditioner supplied, no or ugly views from most rooms, non stop noise outside the windows, small TV, had to change rooms once because Tube TV remote would not work, sink stand was wobbly and couldn't lean on it at all. This property is OK for a night or two but would not recommend for longer stays. The staff here are great and try hard. The restaurant for breakfast and other meals is excellent with great value. There is evening live music in the restaurant from Wed to Sat. Parking is weird with a single lane driveway under the hotel with hard working valets making sense of the jigsaw puzzle. There is also an attractive bar on the roof top.
LLuigeeluvsuIf you are going somewhere and need to be early for a bus ride in Cubao. Try Astrotel it is very convenient clean and near to a lot of establishment. So for a quick last minute shopping before your trip try Astrotel in Anonas for as low as 400.00 (-$10.00) 12 hours accommodation, have a good sleep and fresh linen.
EEjgrl90The staff was super friendly, but there were a lot of amenties described here that were not available, such as the pool and gym. Our AC in the room wouldnt turn on initially as well, and I had to ask someone to come in to get it to start (apparently there wasnt enough batteries in the AC remote!)
Also, the front of the hotel was undergoing construction, so they couldn't provide us with a place to park, which was inconvenient. On top of this, I have asked for late checkout the night before, which the front desk person said it would be possible since the hotel was a bit empty, but the next morning, the person on the front desk insisted we needed to pay PHP 450/hour for late checkout. Overall though, I liked the room and the night shift front desk and would definitely want to visit again once construction is done.
