Location is biased, only to the airport by car, the hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport 20 minutes. The hotel is old, the tourist season is very hot, and the breakfast is superb and very rich.

Lovely hotel with large, well laid out and very clean room and common areas. The pool, gym and sauna areas are large, very clean and well equipped. Plenty of space for everyone. Great environmental saving initiatives with room cleaning service. Staff are friendly and very accommodating- in booking office as well as within front house services. Easy access to Hamburg and surrounding areas though a car is useful. Food is good with generous portions. Breakfast has everything that can be wishes for, late dining until 11am on weekends and late check out time at noon are definate bonuses. Recommend for families and couples equally.

Due to a visit to the NDR Studios on Hugh Greene Road, we have checked in here. The check-in was excellent, very competent friendly staff, we have rarely experienced so nice and above all fast. The guests were all warmly welcomed and ”checked” although a long battle was already formed. The friendly man at the reception even chose us directly a bus, with which we could go directly to the NDR Studios. The rooms they are small, but clean for it, and the window can be opened, I always find it good if you can regulate the fresh air itself. The bed is only 140 broad, that might have been written in the booking before. It is already limitable for two small but large people. All was clean and the bathroom was as well maintained and ordinary. Breakfast was OK, at the mass of people, but something troublesome. But this should not be a point of decline, that is just like when the hotel is booked. We arrived at the day Beyoncé played in Hamburg ... In general, it is very recommendable if you have to do on the edge of Hamburg or positions, the hotel is not central, But it points just by price and modernity and very nice staff! A parking lot is available in the parking garage adjacent to hotel areas for 10EUR per day.

As I travel very frequently for leisure and business I have a broad frame of reference. This hotel has positively surprised me. Many hotels still use Covid as an excuse to strip down their service. Not this one: extremely friendly, helpful and anticipating reception staff (big compliment and thank you to Uwe Ahlburg at the reception - one of a kind customer oriented top professional - really OUTSTANDING). You get water, slippers and full amenities in your room. They offered a second bottle at check in just in case that you dont have to walk down again. Hotel still offers desinfection everywhere. Room is clean and was desinfected. Beds are very comfy, room not huge but big enough, bathroom has sufficient space to deposite all items, light is good and magnifying mirror is effective. Only item to improve is the coffee was only decaf and not sufficient milk powder and I could hear a bit from other guest through connection door. Check in and out very effective. Asked for a taxi in a hurry and staff walked over for me to get it as fast as possible. Its not a luxury 5 Star super fancy place but if back in HH I’d still prefer it over those as in the end service makes the difference and not the price / look of the furniture. Excellent value for money.

Hotel liegt in einem schönen Stadtteil. Zunächst mal das positive und weiter unten das negative . Wir hatten das Zimmer 28 und 29 . Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und haben das wichtigste drin. Zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis bei der Ankunft finde ich sehr gut. Die Zimmer hinten hatten einen Ausblick zum Garten hinten , bzw Hinterhof. Die Zimmer waren sehr ruhig , man hörte lediglich nur ab und an oben den Fußboden wenn jemand gelaufen ist. Fanden wir nicht störend. Mit gekippten Fenster eingeschlafen und morgens schön von vögeln geweckt worden . Wie erwähnt , die hinteren Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und außer Natur haben wir nichts gehört was störend gewesen wäre . Frühstück war für jeden etwas da und uns persönlich hat nichts gefehlt . Personal an der Rezeption war super freundlich und das abräumen vom Geschirr beim frühstücken war zügig , sehr fleißiger abräumer! Nun zu den negativen Sachen die aber nicht wirklich negativ sind sondern einfach nur Sachen die uns irgendwie gefehlt haben . -Parkplätze sind keine vorhanden , man muss abends wenn man zum Hotel zurück mag , erstmal Parkplatz suchen . -Putzkolonne war sehr laut , haben sich vom einem Raum zum anderen quasi angeschrien. Kann auch eine Unterhaltung gewesen sein die aber sehr laut war , wenn man sich noch ausruhen mag oder einfach mal die Stille genießen möchte ist das nicht so prickelnd . -abends mit seinem Partner unten an der Bar noch ein Wasser oder alkoholfreien Cocktail trinken ist nicht drin , es gibt keine Bar . -der Preis , wir waren dort nur schlafen und frühstücken, haben im Alsterblick Hotel reserviert und bekamen das Fenster zum Hof . Für diesen Preis würde ich nicht noch einmal kommen ohne vorher zu sagen dass ich den Alsterblick bitte für diesen Preis haben möchte . -die Minibar ist perfekt allerdings habe ich daraus nichts getrunken weil es für mich nicht kalt genug war . Ansonsten alles drin was benötigt wird . Wie bereits erwähnt sind diese negative Punkte keine Punkte die uns davon abhalten wieder zu kommen . Es sind Sachen mit denen man leben kann. We did one night stop on our way from Berlin to Billund, the hotel is far from the city center but that´s not our goal this time so the location was good for us. The room was clean and a note was left on the bedtable saying ”Welcome enjoy your stay” which was nice. Breakfast was crowded ( in elevators you can find rush hours of breakfast ) and the staff barely had control at some point. Breakfast had good variations for all of us. The parking lot was located in the basement and you could walk straight from there into an elevator. All in all, clean hotel with great staff and fine locationif you are not planning on spending alot of time in city center.
