Location is about 1km away from the railway station. Not too far away but there's a few hotels which are nearer. Check in and out was fast. I didn't see anything written about asking for deposit on the website. It just happened that was my last 2 nights in Ratchaburi and most of my Thai baht were finishing soon. Cleanliness was good. It will be better if the room was given instant coffee. The worst I should say about the stay was the wifi. Overall for the price I paid, it was still worthwhile. I enjoyed my stay at the Tai-Shan Suites in Ratchaburi. For 600 baht per night you can enjoy a decent sized and modern suite with all the amenities you would expect - aircon, wifi, modern shower, etc. For some reason, I could not get comfortable in the bed which caused for an unsound sleep... I woke up continually throughout the night. This is the reason for the average review, otherwise I would have given a higher TA rating. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this hotel which offers a simply coffee/bread breakfast as part of the lodging package. We did have an amazing view of the sunrise in the morning which added to our overall experience of this hotel.

The breakfast boxes provided by the hotel were good. The hotel is a little way from the city but the hotel provides a relaxing environment. It is a good escape from Bangkok. The train trip from Bangkok was also pleasant.
