The Omni Richmond, VA Hotel was a very good experience for me. All staff (except one) were there to help, assist, support whatever I needed. Including front desk, bellman, house cleaning etc.
The lone exception was one waiter who rudely dismissed me even though I was there 35 minutes before the kitchen closed down on Jan. 17th. The other wait staff were great.
I applaud, Taylor, at front desk who had empathy and helped me get food that evening.

The hotel is super nice all around but they have limited parking. I drive a 2019 Silverado with a 4" lift kit and was told by the valet that I couldn't park in the garage because my truck is too tall. I had to park in an open lot across the street that cost me over $20 for the night. I also couldn't get the room cool enough regardless of how low I set the temperature.

It was a beautiful hotel and all the staff I came in contact with were very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to tip electronically. If there is, I did not see it. I just don’t make a habit of caring a bunch of cash around with me these days.
The only other thing is that the bathroom in my room was definitely having some issues with paint peeling on the ceiling and such. I know that these things happen, but it’s a very nice hotel and I would’ve expected this would have been repaired before having someone stay in the room.

Expected a lot from a property named Omni. Although there was new wallpaper and tile, etc. it was clearly slapped on a pretty worn out space. Very disappointing.

We’ve been coming here for the past four years to celebrate NYE with our son. Heated indoor pool makes this ideal. Great location to venture out. Great breakfast restaurant.
