Hilton Garden Inn Riga Old Town

The location is really good for us. We took a bus heading to Lithuania in the early morning. We walked to reach their. It was really easy. We did not enjoy using towels as we smelled vinegar in it.

Hotel staff was very welcoming at check in and provided a map of Old Riga and made suggestions for things to see and do. The room itself is clean and includes all necessary amenities. If you plan to do laundry, there’s a 4.50 euro charge to enter the laundry room and then you can use it as much as you want. Bring your own detergent! Great location In the heart of Old Riga by the House of Blackheads. Walking distance within a lot of attractions , especially the Christmas market if you’re visiting in the winter time. It’s also around the corner from the famous Ala Pagrabs. It’s been full every time I went so I had to settle for a seat at the bar which is not very comfortable! Eating out can become expensive so I appreciated being near Rimi Express to buy drinks and snacks that I could put in the mini fridge.

It was a very good hotel. Receptionists were very kind. It was in the center of Riga so convenient!!

Nice hotel also by the road, with the bus station to the airport close by.

Good location next to river and old town. Ok breakfast. Very comfy beds. Seevice can be better. Parking 25 euro for 24 h. Breakfast 25 per person. Deposit 100 euro for a room which almost has nothing inside was interesting.

Very spacious rooms right in Old Town with super single beds! The staff was super friendly and recommended us to visit the St Peter’s Cathedral next door and it was such a beautiful place to get a bird’s eye view of old town. However the toilet had a strange stench for some reason. Would have been better if the TVs are smart TVs. But still a great place overall.
