"Underwhelming. The general hotel is nice but the rooms are quite modest and the housekeeping service was spotty — no soap in the shower, missed service one day of two. Located across from a nice park but not near the old town. From desk staff were the highlight though — very nice and friendly."

"The hotel service was professional and attentive, with friendly and highly efficient staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortably laid out, and the bedding and overall quietness were satisfactory. The windows faced the garden and opera house, offering expansive views and a glimpse into the city's beauty, pleasant both day and night. Overall, the stay was relaxing and upscale, making it a highly recommended hotel in Riga."

"The location is fantastic, right on the doorstep of Riga's beautiful Old Town, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. One handy tip for anyone arriving by Uber or Bolt: the app won't allow a drop-off directly in front of the hotel, so just set your destination to the National Theatre nearby and it's only a very short walk from there."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is excellent—I walked from Riga Bus Station in about 12–15 minutes with a large suitcase, and Riga Old Town is only a 5-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants, cafés and attractions nearby. The hotel is also located along the river, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk or take a river cruise for just €15. I also appreciated the luggage room, which allowed me to continue exploring after check-out. The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a solo traveller. It had everything I needed, including a kettle, coffee, tea, minibar and a smart TV where I could watch YouTube. The hotel also has spa facilities, although I didn’t get the chance to use them. I also enjoyed a light meal at the hotel restaurant. The only downside was the soundproofing. I could hear people walking in the corridor and doors closing, and there were occasional noises from the room above, especially in the morning. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return."

It is located just behind the Riga Cathedral and is convenient to the old town sites. It has a very good restaurant attached to the hotel. Highly recommended its fish/seafood soup. Particular thanks to the restaurant staff Armands and Andris for their courtesy and professionalism."
