"Central hostel was simply wonderful. It was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, especially Alana who gave me lots of good advice and information to help me find my way about and where to go and what to see. The owners have added a lot of lovely homely elements to the hostel. You really feel at home there. The outside courtyard has been created beautifully with pots of flowers and hanging baskets. There are seating areas outside in the courtyard too. This is the best hostel! My room at was fantastic, a comfortable bed, storage and lots of room."

The main issue I encountered in this hotel was that their WiFi wasn’t stable, and I wasn’t able to have my online meetings properly. Tried switching to my own mobile data but network was bad too in the rooms."

"The hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office. Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent. Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter. Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm."

However, the hotel feels a bit outdated, and the fitness room could definitely use some renovation. It was also disappointing that access to the sauna and swimming pool required an extra fee. The location is decent, but it’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center."

"Location of the hotel is pretty good as it's near the old town and major tourist sites such as Black Heads Museum. Other than that, unfortunately, everything else is down hill. Room is small and infrastructure of hotel is really old. Corridors to room are long and winding. And on 1st level, need to go up slope and stairs to reach room on other side of the world. The worst was the bed. Mattress is totally "dead". Whole body slump in and I had a bad back after 2 nights stay"

"The beautiful hotel is in the heart of the city, in a distance from the station and from the bus station. The hotel has everything, a refrigerator, a stove, very convenient if you come for a few days with your family. The only thing that cleaning apartments happens once a week is , it is little, but if you ask the staff, they are very responsive and will solve all the questions . I stop not the first time and very satisfied. Every time there are some innovations- recently opened spa and good prices for procedures, and if you want you can order breakfast with delivery of €12 good enough breakfast. I recommend"

"The overall judgment is positive, but honestly I expected something more. I booked this hotel because it was recommended by the organizers of the fencing competition to which I accompanied my son. The location was certainly good, 6/7 minutes by taxi from the competition venue, however the hotel itself did not excite me, starting from our arrival; in fact, the flight arrived early in the morning, but check in was scheduled for 3 pm. We asked if it was possible to bring forward the time, they replied that they would let us know, but this was not the case. So far so good. The point is that the room is cleaned on request and we did not know this; so, when we returned to the room on the day of the competition, it had not been cleaned and the towels had not been changed. I was able to take advantage of breakfast twice and in both cases, as soon as I got up from the table to go and get something to eat, the waitress took the cup with the cappuccino off the table, still full!!!"
