The staff make this place; efficient, professional, friendly, ever helpful, and always happy. Every single one smiled and wanted to help. Whoever trains them should be proud. The hotel is well thought out, has the most wonderful restaurant particularly for a gourmet dinner; and breakfast is an event too. Downside for us, and in no way a criticism of the hotel, the close by sports bar disco is unbearable for noise. And for some reason yapping dogs are paraded along the promenade; but that reflects more on the owners. One thing we would change was the oversized bath in the superb room. It wasn't practical and the space would be better suited to a couple of arm chairs and coffee table. Great location for accessing many interesting places and that wonderful staff will give you all the advice you need.

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.

The hotel is located on a quiet side street 3 blocks from the beach and one block from the Metromare station which lets you catch a cheap, regular and convenient bus running on its own dedicated roadway either further down the coast to Riccione or 2 stops to the central railway station in the other direction. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet with an excellent bed, balcony and lots of space. Also a kettle and teabags. The staff were all very friendly and professional, speaking good English, and we were given a present on departure. The breakfast was amazing with really fresh and good-quality food and drink and many pastries, breads and other items specially made on site. It also catered plentifully for vegans and those wanting a range of plant-based milks. The hotel emphasises environmental awareness and offers abundant recycling facilities, e.g., as well as electric car charging points and the option to rent an electric or other bike. Warmly to be recommended.

We returned to the hotel for the third time this year, now for us, and became our sea house. The owners Vincenzo, Rosa and all their staff are really special, always available and friendly. The structure is very well and always clean and ordered, the kitchen starting from breakfast to dinner and varies and tasty and are always available for any requests especially for the smaller.

After reading the reviews, I was significantly disapointed. We requested to park at the parking on site (as we had our cat with us). When checking in they tried to make us park at the ofsite parking until we reminded that we had requested it - it appears they do not check the notes when checking in. Anyways small issue - but no information was given to us about the beach, breakfast, anything. After unpacking, we tried to get the voucher for the beach - which they coundn't find so we had to return later and go through the whole speach again to get the voucher. Later that evening we requested two pillows. This is the first time in a 4 star hotel where I had to follow someone around to get pillows and then put the pillow cases on. One night I went to get my car, as we wanted to drive somewhere to find it blocked in. Now the price for parking I do not mind paying, but when you can't have access to your car...this is unacceptable. The breakfast is a big let down. One coffee machine for a hotel this size. On average waiting 5 minutes for a coffee. The pool is extremely small for this size. I even wrote an email to the hotel and not a single response, customer service seems to be a bit of a miss here.
