Terra Prime Suite

We cannot say enough good things about this place! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon, and it was worth every penny. It’s essentially a private, one room bed and breakfast with your own personal concierge/host who did SO much— arranged a taxi to pick us up at the train station; made dinner reservations for us; provided tons of recommendations and was basically on call to answer questions via WhatsApp at any time. The private hot tub is amazing, there is a gorgeous view of the water from the front balcony, bed was super comfy, the sauna was incredible, the room was incredibly clean and quiet, and included endless snacks and drinks that were restocked daily. It should go without saying because of the location that you have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the suite from town, but that’s the case for just about anywhere in Cinque Terre! We particularly loved this location because it was away from the crowds and other tourists, and really gave us a little peek into what it would be like to actually live on Riomaggiore. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a truly unique, comfortable and luxury experience.

This was our first trip to Italy. My wife and I arrived in Milan (MXP) and traveled 3.25 hours for a two-night stay at Terra Prime Suite. As we were approaching Riomaggiore, Veronica was in communication with us providing exact instructions on where to arrive. She and the porter met us to receive our luggage and got us immediately checked into the suite. After reviewing the entire suite with us, how to use the train app/schedule, where to dine locally, etc. she returned with Aperol Spritzes and homemade bruschetta from her garden which was greatly appreciated after our drive. The suite is exceptionally clean, spacious, and has everything that you could possibly want. After a long day of hiking, site seeing, food and wine, the private hot tub was very relaxing. We loved sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning while overlooking the village. On our day of departure Veronica arrived 30 minutes before we were to leave with homemade croissants and cappuccino's which was a very nice treat and surprise. She and the porter delivered all our luggage to the vehicle which was very helpful. I began speaking with Veronica on WhatsApp nine months before our trip and she provided many helpful suggestions prior to our arrival. Veronica is an absolute gem and exudes customer service! We hope to stay with Veronica the next time we visit as it was an exceptional experience. Brian

I can’t say enough great things about our stay!! Our host was beyond amazing! She attended to our every need. The place was fabulously furnished! The location was perfect! The town is adorable! You should definitely stay here and let Veronica spoil you rotten!!

First, Veronica is like a wise Italian sister who knows everything and everyone, and is super responsive, kind and generous. She made reservations for us before we arrived, met us at the train station and helped us land after a very long trip. The suite is spectacular! With two outdoor spaces, one smaller with a gorgeous water view, and one huge with a porch swing, full table, outdoor shower, and hot tub! The inside is spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is especially wonderful with the steam room/shower and sauna combo that our sore muscles definitely appreciated. If that wasn't enough, Veronica create delicious snacks (e.g. bruschetta with fresh tomatoes from her garden) and treats her guests like royalty. She even helped us find our way back on our first day, after taking the long, arduous way back from the train station. Veronica will let you in on all the details that you can't find anywhere in guidebooks. Truly a magical place!

My husband and I traveled through Italy for 3 weeks and stayed at a variety of hotels (all 4 or 5 star hotels) and Terra Prime Suite was one of our absolute favorites! Room: 10/10 The room is large, clean, modern and bright! You have everything you could want and more- including Nespresso machine, mini fridge, hot water kettle, sauna, walk-in closet, additional luggage closet, jacuzzi and balcony! The room is beautifully curated and very comfortable with attention paid to every small detail. The room also comes stocked with beverages and snacks, which is all included in the price of the room. (Also, Salvatore Ferragamo bath products!) Hospitality: 10/10 The hospitality at Terra Prime Suite was by far the BEST from any hotel we stayed at. The owner and her husband offered to pick us up from the La Spezia train station and drive us into Riomaggiore so that we could avoid carrying our luggage up the stairs. After escorting us to our room she greeted us with fresh bruschetta, fruit and aperol spritz’s! This immediately transported us from travel mode into vacation mode! The owner communicated with us the whole time on WhatsApp. She was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly, helping us make the most out of our time in Cinque Terre. Overall - outstanding 10/10 experience. Would come back in a heartbeat and will be recommending to family and friends!!

We spent 24 days traveling in Italy , spanning over 7 different cities and staying with Veronica and and Terra Prime was definitely one of the main highlights! Riomagiorre is awesome to begin with so I won’t spend any time speaking about the area because you already know why you came. But if you do decide to see Cinque Terre, do yourself a favor and stay at Terra Prime. Location is excellent, 10 min walk to the train station and also the boat docks. There are lots of steps, but this is part of the Cinque Terre experience. Veronica gave us excellent service starting from picking us up from La Spezia station, giving us excellent breakfast each morning and making sure she was available for any questions we had. Service was super excellent! The suite was another level! The room had a sauna! A SAUNA!!! And then also we had our own PRIVATE JACUZZI!!! And trust me, you will need it at the end of the day after all the up and down walking you will do enjoying Cinque Terre. It’s the perfect way to unwind and relax! Veronica even had Netflix working on her TV so yet another perfect way to chill after a long day! I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Veronica is the BEST host. This is really all you need to know. We travel a fair bit, and I’m not exaggerating at all when I say she is the #1 host we have ever stayed with. Everything before, during, and after your stay is absolutely perfect. She is very communicative, the suite is amazing, the amenities and view are all you could ask for, and Veronica is just one of the most fun and thoughtful people you could meet. There is absolutely no question that this is where we will stay any time we come to Cinque Terre.

We stayed at the Terra Prime Suite in Sept 2022. Our first time in Cinque Terre and we were so pleased we had found the perfect place to stay. The apartment is very clean with recent updates.....high end sauna, shower, bath fixtures, etc. The host was Veronica who was the best host we have ever experienced. She was on time to meet us and arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the apartment and our car to be garaged. She was a wealth of information and so very helpful and accomodating. When we return to Cinque Terre we will definitely stay in this apartment again. Perfect location and ambience. Wow!
