Other than the bathroom sink being smaller than I would like, this is a great spot. Sonya and Brittany were extremely welcoming and the Town of Roscoe is adorable. Also make a reservation at the Farmhouse Italian, it is outstanding and very reasonable. The Yarra is 2 Thumbs up

We enjoyed our stay very much. For me, the tastefully appointed rooms, mellow vibe and friendly atmosphere really hit the mark. For my husband, the comfortable bed and walkable location. For both of us, the tapas dinner and breakfast options were top notch! We would highly recommend it and would return again if the fishing calls us back to the area.

Property is located near town, and it was very easy to locate. Room was decorated pleasantly, and we were welcomed with a personal note. Unfortunately, the room was located on the second floor and there are steep/narrow stairs to climb. (Hand railing could be made more secure.) Due to this, we brought limited items to the room. Bed was comfortable. However, we woke many times in the night due to the heat. Thermostat upstairs appeared to be set at 73 but it felt much warmer in the room. Possibly due to closed door and limited circulation. Maybe adding a ceiling fan could mitigate this issue. In the breakfast area, the temperature was 77. Breakfast was limited. We appreciated the special touch of items in the bath area and the overall ease of use. We never met anyone that worked at the property.

I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the Yarra from the local community so I was very excited to get to experience it for myself. I had a really lovely experience staying in the blue room. The whole home is very tastefully and artistically decorated. I appreciate the attention to detail such as high quality linens and bath products, very comfy bed and black out curtains. The light, self serve breakfast was also a lovely addition and just made my stay so much more comfortable. I’m looking forward to coming back and enjoying the special dinner menu in the future.

Wonderful Stay! We stayed at the Yarra for one night while in town to visit family. It is such a nice place - beautifully decorated house! I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and all of the ammenities a bit more. The room we stayed in had everything we needed. Thoughtful details by the innkeepers were great.
