The hotel is under some construction but it did not effect my stay at all. We were told at check in the Saturday breakfast started at 7am which was a bummer because we had to be at the tournament at 7,but I went down that morning to get a toothbrush & was pleasantly surprised breakfast was being served! I was so happy. Breakfast was great- French toast, eggs, steel cut oatmeal, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt! Saturday evening we enjoyed a fantastic margarita & glass of wine on the patio. This is the place to stay in Roseville! We will definatly be back!

I'm writing this review not because I stayed in the hotel but because I've been trying to make a reservation for March 23-24 but when I'm about to enter my ID info and credit card, the dates keep changing to March 16, today's date. If I was not careful, I would have paid for today's date and would not be able to get a refund! This is absolutely crazy and a mistake that Marriot, should not be making. I called their reservations person, who did not seem to be interested and just stated it's a technical glitch. Also, in the greeting, it states that the price they have online and by person is the same. However, online it was showing $170 but the rep quoted me for $225. Marriot, please fix your website and your support team.

Stayed a few nights for business travel. Facility is clean and well maintained. Service from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast area was outstanding. Room was spacious with in room safe and plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable with upscale linens. Breakfast buffet was really good with a large variety of choices. Location is near many restaurants, but not really in walking distance. Would stay there again.

Did not expect the four star quality of this hotel. It was modern with a terrific pool. Best pool ever seen at any hotel and not crowded. The reception was warm and the room very convenient. It was on a second floor but entered from car to that floor. Just down the hall a very nice bar and grill. Breakfast was to order along with a nice buffet. Mostly modern and welcoming. Worth a stay on way along I 80 between Reno and Sacramento. Auburn also is a town with fantastic food.

Departing from Los Angeles, I took the old man to Lake Tahoe, taking into account the trip, not too tired, staying here for one night. The hotel is all on the way, the environment is very good, the bed is large, you can stay for four people. There are restaurants in a few minutes. The most important thing is that it is only the costco across the road. The food, vegetables and fruits that are in the Lake Tahoe on the second day can be purchased. I don’t know how to make a big watermelon from LA. .

I have stayed at this particular Best Western at times over 20 years. With the new improvements to the rooms, you get a great deal for the money, with breakfast, pool, jacuzzi all included….I paid 162.00 for a lovely, very clean King size bed room. Staff at front desk extremely friendly and helpful.

Very Good
ZZpack2723My friend from San Diego was staying here for work again, so I got to visit and stay over a few nights. Last time I thought the stay was decent but maybe not the best, I rather stay at a Holiday Inn Express. But this stay changed my mind. The staff was on point and took care of the paperwork and posting of my friends rewards point in a timely manner. We even checked in early, no prob. Parking is easy, right out the front door. We got upgraded to a nice 1 bedroom king bed suite with a mini kitchen. Basically all it was missing was an oven. But it had a 2 burner electric stove, full sized freezer/fridge, big sink and dishwasher. Dishes, pots and pans all provided, even a toaster and coffee maker. Hot brewed coffee is available in the lobby 24/7, so we didn't need the coffee maker. The room was large with 2 big flat screen TV's, a couch and work desk. The bedroom had a nice king bed and attached vanity and bathroom. The shower had endless hot water. The AC unit was a in house unit, not the usual under the window wall unit that makes a ton of noise. This cooler ran almost silently which was really nice. What made me change my mind about Staybridge, was that before I thought the breakfast was a little subpar compared to other chains. But here, the breakfast was very good with waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. There;s a selection of juices and dairy products, even soy milk for those that need it! This is what I really liked, was Mon, Tues, and Wed, they offer a Happy Hour all complimentary! Alcohol is served as beer (bud light and micros brew ”804”) and wine. It's all you can drink basically, though I didn't see anyone getting too carried away! Food varied from salad served with clam chowder, potato soup, nachos and meatball sliders. This is really nice and saves paying for dinner! Speaking of meals, one could cook in the included kitchen if you wanted. We cooked a lunch in the room and it worked out well. This is good especially if you're located in some po dunk town with not many eating out options. The better breakfasts and happy hour have changed my mind on Staybridge Suites over Holiday Inn Express! Both are on the same rewards program. There just aren't that many Staybridge Suites compared to Holiday Inn Expresses.
GGuest UserThe employee at the front desk smiled as we walked in. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was pancakes, omelettes, hash browns to name a few. All delicious! And it is only 2 miles from thunder valley. I highly recommend this hotel!
We stayed 2 nights in May for a volleyball tournament in Roseville. The location was good - close to restaurants, grocery store, freeway. The rooms are a bit dated (dark, brown, no USB outlets). We had a double queen - it was a big room. We were on the ground floor near an exit but it was pretty quiet. Breakfast was the usual - coffee, waffles, 'eggs', bacon...it would be nice if hours were told upon checkin or posted in the lobby. Cons - having to get new key cards multiple times a day. It would would work on our door once, then not in an hour. Every day. Also, the air conditioner WAS THE LOUDEST I HAVE EVER HEARD in a hotel room. WAY too loud to use at night which we needed when it was an 85 degrees that day. Not sure if they are all like that but this was terrible. Would I stay again? Yes, but not in the summer in case I needed the air conditioner!
SShelly Fielder GreenArrived late and left early next day, but this hotel served it's purpose of getting a little rest before I continue my journey home. Very clean room and great breakfast. Mattress was a bit firm but, like I said, it served it's purpose.
GGuest UserThe room was clean, did not smell and was a decent price. The man at the front desk was unfriendly, unhelpful and just ignored us. Trash can at the front was overflowing onto the ground. I told the man at the front desk and the trash on the ground was picked up but the trash remained full the whole time we were there. Loud noise from the road in front can be heard in the rooms, no matter what the man at the front desk says. The internet didnt' work and had to tell the man at the front desk. We were told the light ”breakfast” in the morning was coffee and danish. It was a box of Hostess Twinkies and Cupcakes. When I asked about this he said that is what they give him to put out. The Handicapped parking space was not wide enough to get out on the passenger side safely. The curbs on that side around the planter was broken and you had to walk over gravel and broken pieces of curb.
