Hotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.

The room was very comfortable, and the water system worked well. However, being close to the highway made it a bit challenging to sleep.

Love the place, its really clean and spacious. But i feel that the location is bit far from the rest of the places (attractions). But it is near a bus station so it is very convenient to go anywhere.

The pictures of the Hotel are very deceptive as nothing looks like it did in the images. The breakfast can only be described as truly shocking eggs completely inedible . Paper thin bacon bathed in grease .stale bread and croissants that would better as a corner stone for a building , the photographs on the website are not the breakfast room at all and it very false advertising
The room itself is comfortable and clean with a very ample sized bed
Television didn’t work at all and the location is not walking distance from the Colosseum
Definitely not a 4 star hotel 2 star at best

Lovely hotel, however there is not allot around it. And the area is not very aesthetically pleasing.
