We are a family of four, just returned from Camping Fabulous. We chose this campsite for its location and proximity to Rome. We didn't hire a car but organised a taxi from and to the Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport as it cost less than public transport and is less than a 30 minute transfer. We stayed 3-10th April. The campsite was just getting geared up for the start of the season and they were not ready to hit the ground running. The night we arrived there was a large queue of people outside the very small reception cabin, it's not an actual building, and a security guard outside was managing the queue so people didn't crowd into the very small cabin. We couldn't see how many reception staff were on so went straight to the bar for something to eat. It was busy there and staff seemed frazzled and harassed as if not expecting it to be so busy so early in the season. Food is basic but adequate. Stick to reliables like pizzas and pasta. Anything outside of that from a secondi menu did not live up to the description on the menu and pricey for what it was. Restaurant is not very attractive in decor- it's more like a canteen than a restaurant in the lighting and noisy acoustics. It's not a place you'd like to linger over a glass of wine. Eat and go. We returned to reception and got our key to our mobile which was a three bed close to the pool area. We requested a change right away as we were housed next door to a large noisy group of Italian men and reception facilitated our request. The second mobile was in a much quieter area but still near the pool. Good idea by previous reviewer to study the map of the campsite and select your accommodation before you go and ask to be accommodated in your choice. We met one family from Brussels with children who were 20 minutes walk from.the pool area, supermarket etc. The campsite is very big so bear in mind that you could be accommodated a good walk from facilities if you don't request otherwise. We knew the pool wouldn't be open until Friday 7th April and that was fine as we intended to visit Rome 4tg, 5th and 6th and stay around the pool when weather was forecast to be good at the Easter weekend but it did not say on the website that the supermarket would not be open until Friday 7th either. In fact it didnt open until Saturday 8th due to some issues but no one working there seemed to know when exactly it was opening and weren't too bothered either. People were milling sround in the mornings trying to buy the few croissants on sale from the bar and they sold out fast and that was it then, nothing else to buy, no basics available like fresh bread , milk or water. The bar staff were overwhelmed by the queue of people and knowing they were unprepared. We walked to the PIM supermarket, a well stocked supermarket, which was over 1km away and trekked back with water milk, cereal etc on a very dangerous, uneven, bumpy road with no footpath except at times, a bit of a muddy verge as the cars sped past. Not bad, although not in the city of Rome, we only rent a car for one night. Stay away from ztl and have free parking. Breakfast is a very regular European breakfast.

Best Western Hotel I Triangoli

There is a parking lot on the ground floor of the hotel, a little far from the airport, no problem with self-driving! The room was clean, the first hand went straight to the right and the first one was a great restaurant. The breakfast was not fixed. It was also a right-turning, straight-going cafe. It was very good to open a cafe at 5 in the morning.

We stayed in I Triangoli residence for one year and would highly recommend to anyone for longer stays who prefer self-catering and independence but is still looking for the hotel comfort. We both miss general manager Stefania for her professional approach, kindness and politeness. Stefania went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our stay. With Veronica’s smile and never ending happiness we felt very welcomed the first day. All reception staff, cleaners and maintenance service were very professional and helpful. The formula of I Triangoli Residence is designed in very efficient way and suits couples, families with kids, elderly, pet owners, you named it. There is a choice of different size apartments with little balconies or separated from the main garden ground floor terraces. We stayed in one bedroom first floor apartment with a little balcony. The apartment included comfortable king size bed, AC, washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, tv (with CNN, BBC and other international channels), wi-fi. Twice a week cleaning, change of bedding and towels were also included. The apartment was clean and organised well with a bit dated furniture, which at the end I got to like as there was plenty of storage for our luggage, clothes, books and bric-a-brac. We both worked from home so two spacious desks were bonus. In the summer months I really appreciated window shutters which blocked the heat and at night provided total blackness. The inner garden is kept very well and gives you the feeling of walking into condominium rather than hotel. I Triangoli is outside Rome’s circular motorway (Grande Raccordo Anulare) but it is still in the Rome’s administrative boundaries and it is served by Atac buses (bus stops just across the street), Acilia train station on Ostia Lido–Roma route. If you prefer to drive I Triangoli has underground secure car park accessible with the same entry card as your apartment. I loved the location mainly for the proximity to Ostia Beach – 10 min drive or 30 min bus journey. Area is very well serviced with coffee shops, restaurants, bar, bakery, pharmacy, supermarket, optician, fishmonger and dry cleaners within walking distance. We would be going back next year!

Villa inside a park with swimming pool: tranquility and relaxation. Parking inside. The owners welcome you very kindly and helpfully. The villa is furnished with 1950s style furniture and it is a real pleasure to stay there. Breakfast served in the garden (both sweet and savory): all good, well prepared and well served. It feels at home. Very spacious rooms (Suites) say you can enjoy complete tranquility. Located near Ostia, in a well-kept residential neighborhood. Congratulations to the owners!

I went to Rome with my son for a service, and booked at this facility because it was better placed at the point where I had to go. In general the room was clean (the main thing) as well as the bedrooms and coats, With a refrigerator in the room, TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, the gentleness and courtesy of the owners, in the person of Ms. Ilaria and her father, is a matter of fact to be considered as the main. The only stunning thing that in the neighborhood there is nothing to go if you haven't come with the car and then be able to move, but the positive thing and that just 10m there is a always open supermarket where you can spend as you want The hotel is located outside the hotel or behind it and is free of charge. I can therefore only give a positive judgment on everything, but if you should repeat me to return to that area, I can tell Mr Ilaria that I will certainly stay with you at 100%.
