I don't often write reviews, but I just had to after having a fab experience here. Last minute booking, so what a wonderful find! Stayed here for a fabulous week with my mum in Sept. Hotel was perfect... I cannot express how wonderful all of the staff here are. They literally can't do enough for you, and they all work so hard keeping the place immaculate! Special thanks to to the wonderful Ruth and Anna on reception for their kindness and efficiency, they both put themselves out to help me. Such lovely people. Also huge thanks to lovely Nuria on the poolside bar, who made me smile every day! You can always get a sunbed around the pool at any time of the day, which was fantastic, I had read this in other reviews and it was true! Theres nothing worse than having to get up at 6am on holiday to put towels out on a sunbed, I hate doing it, its not right, but none of that here! We also couldnt get over how straight and neat the sunbeds were each morning! LOL Great job! We took the All inclusive option and were not disappointed! The food here was incredible, loads of choice, fresh and constantly being replaced so nothing ever ran out. Desserts were to die for! The only slight issue for us was that there were lots of under 5's staying at the hotel (fair enough its a family hotel!) but it could feel hectic/ noisy at mealtimes) Restaurant is open in the evening from 6.30pm to 9pm. Advice from me, is to go later, after 8pm and its a little quieter. Hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. We also took advantage of booking the other restaurants available to you within the complex (5 -10 mins or so stroll away behind the hotel) We tried the Italian and the Thai, both were a lovely change from the hotel restaurant. Be aware you need to book these in advance, so if you want to try any of them, please book on your first day (Italians gets booked up very quickly as they only have 1 sitting per evening at 6.30pm, and its very popular) Our 1 bed apt was absolutely beautiful, big rooms, comfortable beds, hairdryer, fridge, fantastic aircon, (set at a constant temp so you never had to touch it) fab pool view. Super bathroom/shower and plenty of mirrors! The only slight issue was that the sofa beds are really hard, so not good if you had to sleep on these for a week. Cleaned 5 times a week so always fresh towels etc Loads of great activities at the hotel for both adults and kids! The hotel is in a great position, 5-10 mins stroll down to the beautiful beach and 5 minutes from the nearest shops. Be aware, the sunbeds on the beach cost 35 Euros which included a drink at the nearest beach cafe. Cheaper beds/umbrellas which are 18 Euros, are further along the beach. I would definitely recommend and use this hotel again (I will be trying the Adult only Protur next) and I'll be promoting Protur Hotels to everyone I know! Thanks a million to everyone at Protur Badia Park Hotel. We'll be back! x
