Noting to complain about it. It was a great stay. Very friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a bit early and was checked in right away without charge fee unlike Intercityhotel Berlin Central Station. Public transportation ticket was given out by the lady at front desk. So we saved a lot on transportation fee. Located couple minute walk from Dresden Central Station. PragerStrasse near by. Definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

10 minutes walk from Dresden Hauptbanhof and 15 minutes walk to Neumarktplatz. Big shopping mall next door and PragerStrasse has all kinds of shops and restaurants. All in all a great location. Our room was an unusual layout with a large foyer and even larger bedroom but with sp**** furniture. We liked it as we had plenty of room to spread out. All the staff we met were smiling and helpful.

Location is good. Facilities are a bit too old to be rightfully at the Hilton brand standard, but acceptable and understandable at this price level. On the services, there is substantial room for improvement. Staff are responsive but badly need to be trained with better protocols and practices.

My hotel room was HUGE. This was a phenomenal surprise, especially given the location. The Hotel is around the corner from a ton of excellent restaurants, and only a short short walk from the city center were one can find beautiful outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the city. Once construction in the market in front of the hotel is finished, I'm sure there will also be another excellent view on the doorstep. I will happily stay here again next time I need to be in Dresden.

There were no terrible issues, but some details not expected in a 5-Star hotel: 1) We requested for a COT (baby bed), we had to ask for it 3 times. 2) 1st night, baby wet the sheets, we put them together with some towels for change. Cleaning team put new towels but REUSED the wet cot sheet. 3) Many hairs on the floor of the bathroom when we entered the room and spider web in the balcony. 4) The water in the bad in the garden has big living worms, we realized after our baby put his toes in the water. 5) Coffee machine in the room would be a great asset Breakfast is amazing, people is super kind, facilities are awesome, thanks! *** German translated ** Es gab keine schlimmen Probleme, aber einige Details, die man in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht erwartet: 1) Wir baten um ein COT (Babybett), wir mussten dreimal danach fragen. 2) 1. Yes the aircon wasn’t great and it was a warm night. But the service here is amazing and they go the extra mile. Special mention to Elena who was fantastic. And the guy who was on the desk at night who’s name I didn’t get. Thank you 😊

Not imagining well

We spent seven nights in Dorint Dresden for a private stay in Dresden. A major advantage of this hotel is its traffic-friendly location: the old town with its attractions is in a footing distance, the tram driving in Dresden at close distances holds almost outside the door. The hotel itself is not new, but the public areas make a well-treated impression and our standard room to the indoor courtyard on the second floor was clean, spacious and very quiet. The room design is originated from another time, which has not disturbed us, but modernisation should necessarily be accompanied by additional sticks. The service in the house was professional, the staff were friendly and accessible to the guests' concerns at any time. The breakfast offer was in line with the ”international standard” for a hotel of this category, the fresh egg food and the associated supplements were much better than in many other hotels. Critically, the great offer of sauce and bakery products in Dresden and the surroundings was only extremely limited - backbrushes, cutting etc. were acceptable standard products as they exist everywhere, But with which you don't even get off. Damn. The high prices in the deep garage (17 Euros per day) criticized in other reviews can easily be handled with a 10 Euro cheaper parking behind the hotel. However, this price policy is incomprehensible. On the house policy of non-cleaning of rooms for sustainability reasons, note: The daily cleaning of rooms can be logged in at check-in - you are explicitly asked by the receptionist - that then works without any mistake. It is only strange that Dorint does not give incentives to refrain from cleaning - targeting a bad consciousness is rather contraproductive. Finally, the daily opening of the bar in a well-booked hotel should be obvious. The bar staff makes a great job. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel.
