please, do yourself a favor and do not stay in this hotel, the food is terrible, the service is terrible, beds are super hard to sleep on, their all inclusive is a joke, you want a coffee around 6pm, well, they dont really have it available, only until 5:45, do you want to play tennis at night? no cant do, only when the “activities person” is on site during their day. Their hotel activities are sad to say the least, felt like I was watching a high school presentation, and again, the food is TERRIBLE. There is NO WIFI in the rooms and the hotel WIFI just doesn’t work properly, you cant do a work call there because the wifi that they have on the lobby is so slow. no AC in the lobby or “working area” so you will burn in hell while working if you really have to work. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE. stay at SAMAWI hotel instead, nice, clean, ok service, close to a good beach and shops. I stayed there before moving to Decameron and what a mistake did I made.

This hotel does not deserve a rating of above 2 stars. The actual hotel is NOT as shown in pictures. The hotel and all facilities are run down and completely outdated. The food is decent but it is poorly presented and the careless attitude of most of the servers completely ruined the dinning experience. All inclusive drinks meant offering only the lowest quality of liquor with no option to even pay for upgrades. In my group of 14, 10 of us got stomach sick. It was either the water, food, or drinks but what we know is that none of us consumed anything from outside of this hotel chain. The beach is a nice but its a huge disappoin**ent when you realize you can only access seagrass/mangrove waters. The beautiful ocean is within view but only to be reached by boat. The majority of the dinning staff (cooks, servers, and bartenders) seemed unmotivated and uninterested in providing basic customer service (and believe me, I tried my best to get a smile out of them at every encounter). On a positive note, entertainment, housekeeping and reception staff were as pleasant as you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel.

Overall, I enjoyed many positive aspects, but I also noticed some areas that could benefit from improvement. Positive Aspects: -The small beach in front of the hotel is super convenient. The option of kayaks is a lot of fun. -There are recreational activities during the day and night, such as yoga, dance classes, beach cinema for kids, dance performances, contests, etc. -I appreciate Hazam's openness and cooperation when needed. -Isidro was extremely helpful, and his advice on how to enjoy our vacation was very accurate. The yoga class was also a very pleasant experience. -John proved to be a kind person and a leader concerned about the well-being of the hotel. -Daphne stood out for her joy and attentive service. -Kaisy left a positive impression with her kindness and unique style. Her braids are wonderful. -The person who welcomed us as Multivacaciones members pleasantly surprised us with a nice detail (sparkling wine) for one of our dinners. Areas for Improvement: -Repair the damaged lights on the pier and restore the roofs of the beds on the pier. -Improve the quality of natural juices in the restaurants. -Review and replace towels that are worn or stained. -Regarding the cleanliness of the shower in the room, it is not clear whether the shower was cleaned along with the room during our stay. Negative Aspects: -The experience of making reservations with Multivacaciones was frustrating, as the initially offered prices were considerably higher than those available to non-members (considering the cost of memberships). This discrepancy creates a sense of deception and requires additional calls to obtain discounts, consuming valuable time. -The promotions sent by email are not convenient, as they only apply during the low season. -I suggest a clear and transparent pricing structure for affiliates, eliminating the need to negotiate with advisors. I appreciate the attention given, and I hope these comments contribute to further improving the experience for future guests. Overall, it was a good experience, and I am confident that with these adjus**ents, your resort will be even more exceptional.

PLEASE DO NOT USE DECAMERON RESERVATION ON THERE WEBSITE OR BY PHONE THEY MES SUP AND YOU WILL HAVE TO STAY 5 HOURS WAITING THAN TO FIX IT... I don`t know were to begin. I reserved this hotel long before my trip and at the time of the reservation they asked for my documents and my kids and did the reservation by phone directly with than. I was told a amount to pay, but no problem, I did. I arrive at the hotel, I gave all my document and the person told me to wait. I did for 1 hours maybe and than I wanted to know what was happening. At fist I had no choice but wait because I arrive earlier. After a long waiting I ask to talk to the manager, the sub-manager Candy talked to me and told me that my kid at the time or the reservation was 2 year old and now is 3 so there were some kind of problem because he was not a infant anymore. I told than and showed that I sent to the reservation the documents and the problem was theirs, but she told me that I had to wait because they could to nothing at the hotel, they need to wait for Bogota were the Decamenron central will check the problem... I waited from 11:00 to 14:45 my checking was 15:00 the staff was really trying to make our life better they gave us access to the swimming pool to my kids had something to do and gave us lunch.(It is a all inclusive hotel) They hotel staff was amazing working with the limitations that Bogota put on than... Tatiana the general manager assumed the risk and did our checking anyways. I flipped when the central at Bogota asked to talk to me and told me that was my faul that I told the age wrong. I asked why they requested my documents if they were not to check and the lady told me that was my responsibility, at this moment I flipped. I got piss and call than manes I told than that I was awaiting for 5 your to get this answer and nothing that they could charge me whatever I want that my lawyer you get it back. I hang up and latter Tatiana informed that they solved on their side and I would have to pay nothing. My disappoin**ent is not to pay. 5 hours earlier I told Candy, please let us in and is the mistake is mine I pay for it, but how thata I did the reservation woth than everything was managed by BOGOTA, so I had to wait. If you want to stay there please book with a serious agent that can intervene for you when Decamenron Bogota mess things up. The rest was good, the food is good the infrastructure of the hotel is old but good. The BEST of the BEST of this hotel is the staff. They are amazing always pushing the extra mile to make you happy... I recommend the hotel if you book with someone that has power to make thinks correct for you in case DECAMERON BOGOTA messes things up. THE ONLY THING THAT IS REALLY BAD ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE IS WIFI, DON'T COUNT ON IT...

I went through RCI to visit this hotel. After paying several exchange fees to RCI and UVC, I was required to pay for all inclusive. My wife and daughter showed up two days late. I had to pay all inclusive even for days they did not stay at the hotel. Read the small prints in your reservation and be aware of this scam. Hotel is okay, however beach is in the mangrove. Hotel tries to clean, but it is a lost battle. Nobody really goes to the beach. You have to take a boat provided by the hotel to go to Aquaria which is a nice place, however it is always very crowded. Staff at the hotel are fantastic. They would go the extra mile to help guests. Beverages are watered down. Hotel breakfast is pre-cooked and served cold. Quality of dessert and food is poor. There are plenty of good restaurants in the island. You are better off staying in a hotel centric to the main town and use tours to go to the nice beaches. Food is relatively affordable in Town and excellent quality. Using RCI was a disadvantage. I could have got the hotel and pay half the price if I have done it directly with the hotel. I feel I have wasted my money by being an RCI member. It is worthless.

Our experience was not that great. The service and level of the hotel are NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. It is full board with many limitations. The islanders are not very nice at times and in our case at Decameron Marazul: the people who provided service were very rude. Only 10% of the hotel employees treated us well and with respect. Some of them were really kind, but at times they didn't answer us or they didn't bring us our things, or they left while we were talking to them. They seemed angry. I don't understand if they don't get paid or what, but we had very strange moments. At the service level, it leaves a lot to be desired. The food is so-so. Vegetarian options were scarce. There are only two restaurants and two "little bars". But the food doesn't vary much. Something to highlight is that it has a very nice pier. And a beach that is not worth much. They can exchange USD at the hotel at a good exchange rate

Beware. What they do not tell you is....... they no longer allow you to dine at the restaurants of their neighboring Decamerons. You are stuck with your one crummy hotel and pathetic bar for 7 days. See photo of the premiere resorts bar..... Bait and switch, deceptive business practice in the name of “pandemic.” I can fly on a packed plane, bounce to any bar or restaurant on the island except the ones I have prepaid (all-inclusive) to visit at Decameron.

First time staying at a Decameron and won't stay again. The hotel is old and really needs to be renovated, which was surprising given the steep price we paid to stay. The photos online are deceiving and don't depict reality, for example the pier is under construction so couldnt enjoy. Food was ok, but after 3 days were ate out as wanted to eat local and have a break from the cafeteria food. Also the staff tried to sell us another holiday package twice which was a bit annoying. The two positives were the lovely staff and great family a**osphere.
