Staff was friendly and helpful, only downside was you have to request for housekeeping to clean your room and the a/c didn’t work well. We did not know that and would wonder why we would come back to our room not being cleaned. Other than that our experience was pretty good overall

Very nice hotel. Smells good and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The room was small but it has a fridge and microwave a closet and a big enough tv. AC worked great. Walking distance to the Riverwalk. Will definitely stay again!!!

I like that is near everything in the River Walk. I didn't like that now they are charging parking and breakfast

I stayed for a night. The building is a very nice 1900 era building with several modifications. The room was what i needed a tv a microwave, fridge and coffee pot
Bed. Bed was comfortable. Area had alot of transients and it felt a little unsafe. Breakfast buffet was basic continental with eggs, gravy and potaoes added for 10$ per. It wasnt delicious. Reminded me of a military breakfast. Overall just a good stay. .

The bathroom sink had a very slow drain, the shower hot & cold were backwards and the pressure was very weak. The door to the room did not sit flush in the frame, there was a gap at the top. The mattress skirting had stains all over. There is a lot of construction and was very noisy.

The hotel is from the 1900’s. Was really unique with original features maintained. Great experience. Morning breakfast was good.
It was our first time to Texas.
The staff were all very helpful and so
courteous. They supplied information up and above normal and made our stay so easy.

I call this hotel 2nd BestWestern. This is an older building and it needs some spit an polish. The staff was very nice and helpful, but no one told me we had to request our room be made up every day. I have NEVER had to do that at a hotel before. Our room was basically clean but small details like the baseboards hadn't seen a dusting in some time. The bed was comfy and bathroom was decent. They have a $10 breakfast buffet that is adequate, they comped us for two days on this. The location is great 8-10 min walk to the river walk and about 20 mins tot the airport. I would probably stay here again but if your looking for modern shiny and cosmopolitan, it may not be for you
