Love the place. Downtown, and easy to access. The room is a bit small but you have everything you need. Employees including the cleaning service people were very friendly and helpful. I love staying there again.

If you’re used to really minimal environment sound, this spot is great. Lots of reviews complain about noise, but as someone who lives with others this was even less noise than that. Spent the weekend for a concert, the blinds do a great job of dampening noise and we were on the side of the building facing the club but neither my partner, nor I, were disturbed by the small amount of noise. Much cleaner than some other hotels I’ve been to, and even though we didn’t use any amenities, it was good knowing they’re there. Great location for walking anywhere near the Gaslamp district!

I really worried about my coming stay in this hotel after reading so many negative reviews. Fortunately, i got a room where the noise was an issue only a few hours on Thursday and Saturday (I stayed for one week), but I managed to get sleep. In my opinion, the hotel itself is good, just the area is very loud during nights and also unsafe even during the days. I have never seen so many homeless people in one place before. Some of them were aggresive.

Hotel was super loud until 2am due to a rave being right next to the hotel wall. It’s trashy party outside and kinda dangerous to walk alone. Think bourbon st in New Orleans. Not worth the $700 a night especially for a conference I needed to attend.

The hotel is wedged between nightclubs. If you are assigned a room that faces them, you are treated to 7pm-1am blasting music. Front desk’s remedy is to “just leave us a bad review.” So here we are.

Very loud at night, no noise canceling available for the room. Overhead Shower head didn’t work, a/c unit was hit and miss
