A lovely hotel in Central San Diego. I really enjoyed staying here and the staff were extremely helpful and the bed was very comfy.

Staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was SO Comfy! I’m so happy we chose to stay here and will definitely be back.

Good location… I bought two nights with breakfast.., but the hotel does not offer breakfast..! How can you sell a service.., if there is no service..?? Unreliable..! The room is too small and cramped (Z king room). At check out they were charging me double the amount (amenity fee)…, check your payment receipt..! Only one elevator… I definitely do not recommend it..!

The hotel location is close to famous tourist attractions in the downtown area, so it's great! A hotel with a very cute concept haha ​​I think it was a business hotel with a very good value for money. The room size was a bit small, and there was a smell that I couldn't tell if it was a cigarette smell or something, but it wasn't too uncomfortable and I got a good night's sleep (the bed was perfectly comfortable haha) The downside is that there is no refrigerator. They also lend bicycles for free, but I didn't borrow them because I was using public transportation. Accommodation in San Diego is expensive, but I think it was good value for money!

The location is good but there is no parking. It has to be a long walk. Parking for one night is a bit expensive.

Was put in roon 426. near this room was "automatic washers and dryers to clean the linens. when I got to the room I called them and was told they would go off at 10pm, at 2am and 3am they were going again. I called to complain and was told. that they would move me (at 2am??) I get up at 6, so my sleep would have been about over. It is a cool hotel. But DON"T let them put you in the area of these washers and dryers.... so frustrating!

I have stayed at Staypineapple hotels throughout the country, and they are always the best hotels. This was no different. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The location is extremely convenient. Room was clean and bathroom as well.

Loved our stay there except for the check out charge at the end. They double charged me for each night and it was very difficult to get it fixed.

Overall excellent and highly recommend to anyone specifically looking for a place that’s pet friendly and has above average comfy bed(including sheets,duvets,pillows). Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Entire place was very well kept and maintained with plenty of amenities available to guests. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. High quality coffee mugs and glassware, as well has soft comfy robes available to guests in their rooms. My only complaints is the lack of available free street parking and unpleasant view out of my room windows.

Everything about my stay was above and beyond my expectations. Location, staff, our room were all top notch. I have already been recommending them to family and friends.

Overall we enjoyed our 5 night stay. Location, service and cleanliness were all very good. Great water pressure in the shower. However, the bedding was too hot for us and we couldn't use the air conditioning as it was extremely loud and blew straight into your face while lying in bed. That meant we sweltered at night and couldn't get a good night's sleep. The hotel should really consider a different style of air conditioning as the units are too bulky and loud for the smallish rooms.

Hotel Z is a quirky, lovely hotel in the Gaslamp area of San Diego. Great location and friendly staff. Super comfy beds and cookies upon arrival. Nearby parking was $12 overnight. We walked everywhere. Would definitely stay again. The price was great too!

Great location, but hard to find parking. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the water station and the cookies. Would be great to have fridge and micro in the room.
