Warfield Hotel

Close to the subway, so transportation is convenient, but the area is a gathering spot for homeless people, and the sidewalks are really dirty because of them. The room wasn't small for one person and came with a large TV, refrigerator, and microwave. There are three views: street-facing, facing the neighboring parking lot, and facing the central area. The toilet and bathroom are spacious and have an external window. Breakfast is just coffee and bread. I saw a cockroach in the room once.

The hotel is located in downtown San Francisco, in an area with a high concentration of homeless people. However, there weren't as many homeless individuals directly in front of the hotel at night compared to other areas. If you exit BART from B1, the walk to the hotel feels relatively safe. If you use other exits, be prepared to navigate through groups of homeless people. They don't attack pedestrians, but the atmosphere can feel a bit unsettling. Upon arriving at the hotel, you need a staff member to operate the elevator for you. If you check out too early in the morning, be ready to carry your luggage down the stairs yourself, as hotel staff might not be awake to help with the elevator, which had an 'out of order' sign on it the whole time. I booked this hotel because it was a convenient pickup point for my Yosemite tour. It's also easy to walk to BART to get to the airport. The room had a handy sink, but the bathroom was shared. The soundproofing between floors was very poor.
